What's new?
Compared to previous Eisbecher models, the Core reservoir features an acrylic tube with an external thread for enhanced stability and safety when connecting the lid and pump top. The integrated digital aRGB lighting is also new, with 12 digitally addressable RGB LEDs included in the scope of delivery, eliminating the need for separate purchase.
Extensive Mounting Options
Mounting Option 1:
Included stands allow the expansion tank to be mounted on the bottom of the PC enclosure.
Mounting Option 2:
Included 120mm/140mm mounting frames enable flexible mounting of the Core expansion tank onto free fan spaces, radiators, or fans attached to radiators.
Digitally Addressable RGB Lighting
Twelve digitally addressable RGB LEDs are integrated into a ring at the lower end of the acrylic tube, near the pump top. These provide brilliant illumination for the entire expansion tank. Combined with the Lighttower water effect, a unique ambiance is created. The digital aRGB LED lighting connects via a 3-pin JST connector and can be controlled by a digital RGB controller (e.g., Alphacool Aurora Eiscontrol, Art. 15360) or a compatible digital RGB mainboard.
Lighttower Water Effect
A special water effect is achieved within the reservoir using the riser tubes. By not filling the reservoir above the top edge of the riser tube, a fountain-like effect is produced where water is pushed out the sides of the riser tube and splashes against the glass tube. The intensity of this effect varies with the flow rate of the cooling circuit. The riser tubes included in the delivery allow placement of this effect at either the lower or upper inlet.
Pump Description (VPP655 PWM)
This pump is designed for PC and electronics water cooling. It features an electronically commutated spherical motor, meaning the only moving part is a spherically shaped rotor held by a bearing ball made of ultra-hard, wear-resistant ceramic. This design prevents bearing play, ensuring quiet and smooth operation throughout the pump's lifespan. Separate magnetic shielding is not required.
