Safety Information

CAUTION: TO REDUCE THE RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK, DO NOT REMOVE COVER (OR BACK). NO USER-SERVICEABLE PARTS INSIDE. REFER SERVICING TO QUALIFIED SERVICE PERSONNEL.

The lightning flash symbol with arrowhead, within an equilateral triangle, is intended to alert the user to the presence of uninsulated "dangerous voltage" within the product's enclosure that may be of sufficient magnitude to constitute a risk of electric shock to persons.

The exclamation point within an equilateral triangle is intended to alert the user to the presence of important operating and maintenance (servicing) instructions in the literature accompanying the appliance.

WARNING: TO PREVENT FIRE OR ELECTRIC SHOCK HAZARDS, DO NOT EXPOSE THIS APPLIANCE TO RAIN OR MOISTURE.

CAUTION: The apparatus should not be exposed to water (dripping or splashing) and no objects filled with liquids, such as vases, shall be placed on the apparatus.

WARNING: Do not place the unit in a confined space, such as a bookshelf or similar unit.

CAUTION: Do not use high-voltage products near this product (e.g., an electric fly swatter). Doing so may cause electric shock or product malfunction.

CAUTION: Do not place any heat sources, such as a lit candle, on the apparatus.

CAUTION: Do not block any of the ventilation openings. Install the unit in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions. The slots and openings in the cabinet are for ventilation and to ensure the proper functioning of the product and to protect it from overheating. The openings should not be blocked by placing the unit on a bed, sofa, rug, or other similar surface. Power Cord Warning

It is recommended that most appliances be plugged into a single outlet serving only that appliance. This means that each appliance is plugged into a separate wall socket which has no additional sockets or branch circuits. To be sure, check the specification in this user manual. Do not overload wall outlets. Overloaded, loose, or damaged wall outlets, extension cords, frayed power cords, or damaged or cracked insulation are dangerous. Any of these conditions may result in electric shock or fire. Regularly inspect your appliance's power cord, and if you find damage or wear, unplug it, discontinue use of the appliance, and have the damaged cord replaced with an exact replacement by a sanctioned service center. Protect the power cord from physical or mechanical abuse, such as being twisted, kinked, pinched, or walked on. Pay particular attention to plugs, wall outlets, and the point where the power cord exits the appliance. The plug serves as the disconnect device. In case of emergency, the plug must remain readily accessible.
