How to pair your device
The Pebblebee Pin can be configured with either Apple Find My Network or Google's Find My Device.
With hundreds of millions of devices around the world, advanced end-to-end encryption, and industry-leading security, these networks let users easily locate their belongings with the peace of mind that their privacy is protected.
- Make sure your mobile phone has Bluetooth enabled and Internet connectivity.
- Start pairing mode of the device with two button presses.
- A double beep and LED animation will inform you that the device is in pairing mode.
- Complete pairing with your selected platform:
- On Android - a notification will pop up that will allow you completing pairing.
- On iOS - go into the Find My App, select 'Items', and then tap the [plus icon] (+) and then 'Add Other Item'.
- Follow the instructions in the app. Test your device after pairing by playing a sound from the app.
How to reset your device
At any time, you can factory reset your Pebblebee Pin, which will allow you to pair it again with any of the platforms.
To factory reset your device:
- Press the button three times, then press and hold the button for approximately 10 seconds.
- Wait until you hear the device beeping. Release the button during the third beep.
- A three-tone confirmation sound and LED fade-out will confirm the factory reset.
- You may now pair the device again with any of the platforms.
Limited warranty
Pebblebee offers a 1-year limited warranty against product defects, effective from the time of delivery. Product defects do not include those resulting from accident, water damage, product modification, or failure to follow instructions for use. If Pebblebee deems the product defective, Pebblebee will replace the device upon receipt.
Please contact support@pebblebee.com if you believe your device to be defective. Our support team can identify and resolve most issues and will be happy to provide exchange directions for devices that fall within the warranty.
Safe electronical disposal
When your device reaches the end of its useful life, please dispose of it at your local e-waste center to be recycled and properly discarded, ensuring protection of our environment. Contact your local authorities to find a reputable and certified e-waste center near you.
