Installation
1. Wiring: Do wiring according to the connection diagrams provided.
2. Device Functionality: This Zigbee device is a wireless receiver that communicates with various Zigbee compatible systems. It receives and is controlled by wireless radio signals from the compatible Zigbee system.
3. Zigbee Network Pairing (Through Coordinator or Hub):
- Step 1: If the device was previously added to a Zigbee network, remove it first to avoid pairing failure. Refer to the 'Factory Reset Manually' section.
- Step 2: On your Zigbee Controller or hub interface, select the option to add a lighting device and enter Pairing mode as instructed by the controller.
- Step 3: Power on the device. It will enter network pairing mode, indicated by the connected light flashing twice slowly. This mode lasts for 180 seconds or until the device is added to the Zigbee network.
- Step 4: Upon successful pairing, the connected light will blink 5 times and then stay solid. The device will then appear in your controller's menu for control.
Advanced Operations
4. TouchLink to a Zigbee Remote
- Method 1: Short press K2 / Reset 4 times (or reset power 4 times from master breaker) to start TouchLink commissioning immediately. This lasts for 180 seconds. Repeat if necessary.
- Method 2: Reset power from the master breaker. TouchLink commissioning starts after 15 seconds if not added to a Zigbee network (165S timeout), or immediately if already added (180S timeout). Repeat if timeout occurs.
- Step 2: Bring the remote or touch panel within 10 cm of the lighting device.
- Step 3: Set the remote or touch panel into TouchLink commissioning mode (refer to the remote's manual).
- Step 4: A successful link will be indicated on the remote, and the connected light will flash twice.
Notes on TouchLink:
- Direct TouchLink (neither device added to a Zigbee network): Each device can link with 1 remote.
- TouchLink after both are added to a Zigbee network: Each device can link with a maximum of 30 remotes.
- For control with both gateway and remote: Add remote and device to the network first, then perform TouchLink.
- After TouchLink, the device can be controlled by the linked remotes.
5. Removed from a Zigbee Network (Through Coordinator or Hub Interface)
From your Zigbee controller or hub interface, select the option to delete or reset the lighting device as instructed. The connected light will blink 3 times to indicate successful removal.
6. Factory Reset Manually
- Step 1: Short press K2 / Reset 5 times continuously, or reset power from the master breaker 5 times continuously if K2/Reset is not accessible.
- Step 2: The connected light will blink 3 times to indicate a successful reset.
Notes on Factory Reset:
- If the device is already at factory default settings, there will be no indication when attempting to reset again.
- All configuration parameters will be reset after the device is reset or removed.
7. Learning to a Zigbee Green Power Remote
- Step 1: Short press K2 / Reset 4 times (or reset power 4 times from master breaker) to start Learning mode. The connected light flashes twice. This mode has a 180-second timeout. Repeat if necessary.
- Step 2: Set the Green Power remote into Learning mode (refer to its manual).
- Step 3: The connected light will flash twice to indicate successful learning. The remote can then control the device.
Note: Each device can learn a maximum of 20 Zigbee Green Power remotes.
8. Delete Learning to a Zigbee Green Power Remote
- Step 1: Short press K2 / Reset 3 times (or reset power 3 times from master breaker) to start delete Learning mode. The connected light flashes slowly. This mode has a 180-second timeout. Repeat if necessary.
- Step 2: Set the paired Green Power remote into Learning mode (refer to its manual).
- Step 3: The connected light will flash 4 times to indicate successful deletion.
9. Setup a Zigbee Network & Add Other Devices (No Coordinator Required)
- Step 1: Short press K2 / Reset 4 times (or reset power 4 times from master breaker) to enable the device to set up a Zigbee network. The connected light flashes twice. This mode is for discovering and adding other devices and has a 180-second timeout. Repeat if necessary.
- Step 2: Set another device, remote, or touch panel into network pairing mode and pair it to the network (refer to their manuals).
- Step 3: Pair additional devices and remotes to the network as desired (refer to their manuals).
- Step 4: Bind the added devices and remotes through TouchLink so they can be controlled by the remotes (refer to their manuals).
Notes:
- Each added device can link and be controlled by a maximum of 30 added remotes.
- Each added remote can link and control a maximum of 30 added devices.
10. Minimum Brightness Setting
Set Minimum Brightness:
- Step 1: Adjust the brightness of the connected load to a desired level between 1%-50%.
- Step 2: Press and hold K1 / Min. set for 3 seconds until the connected load blinks. This sets the adjusted brightness as the minimum brightness. The load cannot be dimmed below this level.
Delete Minimum Brightness:
- Step 1: Adjust the brightness of the connected load to 100%.
- Step 2: Press and hold K1 / Min. set for 3 seconds until the connected load blinks to delete the previously set minimum brightness.
11. Startup Brightness Setting
Set Startup Brightness:
- Step 1: Adjust the brightness of the connected load to a desired level between 1%-50%.
- Step 2: Double click K1 / Min. set to set the brightness adjusted in Step 1 as the startup brightness. When turned on, the load will first go to this startup brightness, then drop to the brightness level it was at before being turned off.
Note: This function helps prevent dimmable LED drivers from not turning on at very low brightness levels. If the set startup brightness is higher than the previous level, the light will first go to the startup brightness and then to the previous level. If it's lower, it will directly go to the previous level.
Delete Startup Brightness:
- Step 1: Adjust the brightness of the connected load to 0%.
- Step 2: Double click K1 / Min. set to delete the previously set startup brightness.
12. Controlled by a Push Switch
Once connected with a push switch, a single click switches the light ON/OFF. Pressing and holding the switch increases or decreases the light intensity between 1% to 100%.
