Samsung Jitterbug Teardown
I take apart a Jitterbug for the purposes of an art project

Introduction
A look inside the Samsung Jitterbug.
Tools:
- Flathead 3/32" or 2.5 mm Screwdriver (1)
- Phillips #00 Screwdriver (1)
Step 1: Samsung Jitterbug Teardown

- First remove the battery and rubber feet from the base and under the phone.
- Undo all six screws. Only the two under the battery will come out fully.
Step 2

- Pop the six clips indicated in green and remove the back cover. It is recommended to start from the top four clips.
- The blue highlighted area indicates the connector to the screen and speaker board at the top of the phone.
- The purple highlighted area indicates a chip, and the orange highlighted area indicates the charging port.
- The opposite side of the board (not pictured) contains the microphone, which appears as a small black round bump on the bottom.
Step 3

- Unhook the screen connector and carefully pry the circuit board out.
- Peel off the button pad.
Step 4

- Remove the rubber front cover, then turn the phone over.
- Pop all five clips securing the front casing. Start at the top near the hinge and work downwards.
Step 5

- The blue highlighted area indicates the main screen and mini screen board. The green highlighted area indicates the button, and underneath it is the main speaker. The purple highlighted area is not fully described.
- Carefully detach all remaining pieces, ensuring not to damage the cabling connecting external components to the main board.
To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
