Instrument Panel
Overview of the vehicle's primary controls and displays.
Key Controls:
- Power Locks/Driver's Memory Seat Controls: Located on the driver's door panel.
- Electric Parking Brake/Lane Keep Assist/Auto Hold/Instrument Panel Illumination Controls: Grouped together on the center console or dashboard.

Infotainment and Climate Controls
Infotainment System:
- Infotainment Volume Control: Knob or buttons for audio volume.
- Quick Access Controls: Buttons for frequently used functions.
- Infotainment Touchscreen: Central display for navigation, audio, climate, and more.
- USB Ports: Located in the storage compartment for device charging and connectivity.
Climate Controls:
- Driver's Temperature Control: Adjusts driver-side temperature.
- ON/OFF Power: Turns the system on or off.
- AUTO Automatic Operation: Automatically manages fan speed, air delivery, and recirculation.
- Fan Speed: Controls the fan speed.
- Max Defrost: Activates maximum defrost for windshield.

Starting and Driving
Hands-Free Start
The vehicle starts automatically when the Remote Keyless Entry transmitter (key fob) is inside the cabin, the brake pedal is pressed, and the seat belt is buckled. The ✅ READY icon appears when the vehicle is ready to drive.
Stopping the Vehicle:
- In Park, unbuckle the seat belt and open the door. The vehicle powers off automatically.
- Manually turn off by selecting the OFF icon on the infotainment screen.
Power On After Driver Exit: Shift to Park and select the Extend Mode icon on the infotainment screen to keep the vehicle on for a set time.
Electronic Precision Shift
The shift lever controls the drive unit. The selected position (P, R, N, D) is illuminated. The driver's seat belt must be buckled to shift.
- Park (P): Press the button on the end of the lever.
- Reverse (R): Press brake, pull lever toward you and up.
- Neutral (N): Press brake, pull lever toward you and hold briefly. (Vehicle will auto-shift to Park).
- Drive (D): Press brake, pull lever toward you and down.
Instrument Cluster Details
The reconfigurable cluster displays energy efficiency, trip info, audio source, and driver assistance information.
Cluster Display Controls
- Press the Display button to view and scroll through layouts.
- Use ⬆️/⬇️ to scroll through the active menu.
- Press ✅ to select an item or clear a message.
Vehicle Information
Access all vehicle information via the Vehicle Status icon on the infotainment screen. You can add or remove items from the driver display.
Gauges
- Battery Gauge (A): Shows state of charge and estimated range.
- Power Indicator Gauge (B): Displays instantaneous charge/consumption. Green indicates energy regeneration; amber indicates excessive power use.
Keyless Entry and Access
Remote Keyless Entry Transmitter
- Lock: Press to lock doors and liftgate.
- Unlock: Press to unlock driver's door or all doors/liftgate.
- Vehicle Locator/Panic Alarm: Press to locate; press and hold for alarm.
- Power Liftgate: Press twice to open/close; press once to stop.
- Remote Start: Press twice to power on vehicle and condition cabin. Cancel by holding the button.
Note: Remote start is recommended while plugged in for cabin conditioning.
Keyless Access System
Operate doors and liftgate without removing the key fob (within 3 feet).
- Keyless Unlocking: Use buttons on door handles or the touchpad above the license plate for the liftgate.
- Keyless Locking: Press button on any door handle.
- Passive Locking/Unlocking: Configure automatic locking/unlocking via Settings > Vehicle > Remote Lock, Unlock and Start.
Driving Modes and Systems
Driver Mode Control
Adjusts vehicle systems for driving preferences, weather, and road conditions. Select Drive Modes icon on infotainment screen.
- Tour: Normal driving, smooth ride.
- Sport: Enhanced responsiveness.
- Snow/Ice: Enhanced traction.
- My Mode: Personalized settings.
Automatic Vehicle Hold
Holds the vehicle stationary after brake pedal release until accelerator is pressed. The AUTO HOLD indicator illuminates green. Turn on/off via the AUTO HOLD button on the instrument panel.
Note: Not active under all conditions.
Electric Parking Brake
Apply by pressing the Parking Brake button. Release by turning on the vehicle, pressing the brake pedal, and pressing the (P) button. It releases automatically when shifting to Drive or Reverse.
Energy Management
Regen on Demand
Regenerates energy from momentum and stores it in the battery. Activate by pulling and holding the paddle on the left side of the steering wheel. The vehicle decelerates using regenerative braking. Use the brake pedal for additional braking or panic stops.
Note: Regenerative braking may be limited when the battery is near full charge or cold.
One-Pedal Driving
Enable and customize via Controls > Drive & Park > One-Pedal Driving. A quick access button is available on the infotainment display. When active, releasing the accelerator slows the vehicle using regenerative braking, increasing energy efficiency.
Driving Efficiently: Maximizing Range
Factors influencing range:
- Technique: Avoid rapid acceleration/braking; higher speeds reduce range.
- Terrain: Hills, rain, snow, and wind affect range.
- Climate Settings: Heating/cooling uses energy; turning off A/C can increase efficiency.
- Outside Temperature: Hotter or colder air impacts aerodynamics and range.
Comfort and Convenience
Head-Up Display (HUD)
Projects operating information and messages onto the windshield. Control on/off, brightness, and position via Controls > HUD on the infotainment screen.
Seat Features
Manual Front-Seat Adjustments
- Seat Adjustment: Lift front handle to slide seat forward/rearward.
- Seat Height: Ratchet side handle to raise/lower seat.
- Seatback Recline: Lift side lever to adjust seatback.
Power Front-Seat Adjustments

Setting Front-Seat Memory Positions
- Adjust seat and mirrors to desired positions with the vehicle on.
- Press and release the SET button on the driver's door.
- Immediately press and hold button 1 or 2 until two beeps sound.
To store exit positions, use the Exit button.
Recalling Front-Seat Memory Positions
Press and hold button 1, 2, or Exit until the position is reached. Enable automatic recall via Settings > Vehicle > Seating Position.
Climate Controls and Customization
Climate Controls
Automatic Operation: Press the AUTO switch for automatic fan speed, air delivery, and recirculation to reach the set temperature.
Climate Display: Select the Climate icon on the infotainment screen to adjust settings and synchronize driver/passenger preferences.
Climate Settings: Use fan only for efficiency. Use Heat or A/C for heating/cooling, which uses more energy.
Vehicle Customization
Personalize features via the Settings and Controls menus on the infotainment screen:
- Touch Settings or Controls on the Home page.
- Select the desired menu.
- Select the desired feature and setting.
- Touch ↩️ Back to exit.
Infotainment System
The infotainment system offers entertainment, communication, and vehicle options, featuring Google built-in compatibility.
- Infotainment Volume Control: Adjusts audio volume.
- Applications: Touch screen icons to access apps like Audio, Maps, Phone, Google Assistant, Play Store, Camera, Climate, Settings, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Vehicle Status, Charging, and Drive Modes.
- Additional Views/Pages: Swipe to display more apps.
Interact using gestures like tap, drag, pinch, and spread. Link phones via Bluetooth or USB.
Managing Home Page Icons: Press Home, then touch and hold an icon to move it.
Storing Radio Station Favorites: Tune to a station and touch "Hold to Set".
Audio Sources
Sources include radio, USB, or paired Bluetooth device. Press the ? Audio button on the steering wheel to view the source on the instrument cluster.
Google Built-in
Access Google Assistant, Google Maps, and Google Play. Sign in with your Google Account for personalized features. Use voice commands for assistance.
Wi-Fi® Hotspot
Connect up to 7 devices to the vehicle's 5G Wi-Fi hotspot. Visit chevrolet.com/support for details.
Wireless Phone Charging
Located in the center console. Place phone screen-up on the pad to charge. Check device compatibility at chevrolet.com/support.
Connectivity and Cruise Control
Bluetooth System
Pair Bluetooth-enabled devices to use functions like answering calls. Vehicle must be stopped to pair.
- Pair a Phone: Press ▶️ Push to Talk, say "Pair my phone," or use the Phone icon > Manage Phones > +Add Phone. Select the vehicle name from your phone's Bluetooth settings.
- Answering a Call: Press switch up to answer; press down to end/mute.
Adaptive Cruise Control
Enhances regular Cruise Control by maintaining a driver-selected following gap. Accelerates or brakes automatically.
- Press and hold Cancel button to switch between Cruise Control and Adaptive Cruise Control.
- Use RES+ and SET- switches to set/adjust speed.
- Press the Following Gap switch to select gap setting (Far, Medium, Near).
Lighting and Liftgate
Lighting Systems
IntelliBeam System: Automatically turns high-beam headlamps on/off based on traffic conditions. Activate via Controls > Lights on the infotainment screen. High beams activate above 25 mph.
Autosense Power Liftgate
- Open/Close: Use the Power Liftgate button on the key fob (twice), driver's door panel (A), or the button above the license plate (open) and next to the latch (B, close).
- Hands-Free Operation: Liftgate opens automatically after five seconds when the key fob is within 3 feet of the rear-center of the vehicle.
- Programming Liftgate Height: Open liftgate, adjust height manually, then press and hold button (B) next to the latch until signals flash and a beep sounds.
Driver Assistance Systems
Safety and driver assistance features are aids; drivers must remain attentive.
Access system settings via Settings > Vehicle > Collision/Detection Systems on the infotainment screen.
- Safety Alert Seat: Seat cushion pulses to alert of hazards.
- Forward Collision Alert: ? indicator shows detected vehicles. Red alert and seat pulses/beeps for rapid approach. Set timing via steering wheel button.
- Automatic Emergency Braking: Helps avoid/reduce collision severity with detected vehicles.
- Intersection Automatic Emergency Braking: Helps avoid/reduce collisions with detected cross-traffic.
- Blind Zone Steering Assist: Helps avoid collisions in adjacent lanes. Displays warning symbol and may provide steering wheel input. ↔️ Lane Keep Assist indicator may turn amber.
Specific Driver Assistance Systems
- Front Pedestrian and Bicyclist Braking: Detects pedestrians/bicycles, provides alerts, and may apply braking.
- HD Surround Vision: Displays high-definition camera views on the infotainment screen.
- Reverse Automatic Braking: Provides alerts and braking for potential collisions when in Reverse.
- Rear Pedestrian Alert: Detects pedestrians behind the vehicle in Reverse, providing alerts.
- Rear Cross Traffic Braking: Warns of cross-traffic when in Reverse and may apply braking.
- Front and Rear Park Assist: Provides "distance to closest object" information and alerts.
- Rear Camera Mirror: Provides a wider field of view than a traditional mirror. Controls: A. On/Off, B. Selection Control (brightness, zoom, tilt), C. Adjustment.
Charging
Charging App
Access via the Charging icon on the infotainment screen. Options include:
- Next Charge: Charge Now or Charge Later (set target level, time, pre-conditioning).
- Charge Assist: Find charging stations, manage accounts. Requires myChevrolet account.
- Schedule: Set charging times for off-peak hours.
- Settings: Customize Home Charge Location, Notifications, DC Fast Charge Prep, Cabin Pre-Conditioning, Preferred Charge Times.
Home Charge Location
Vehicle automatically charges according to schedules when parked at its home location.
Target Charge Level
Sets the maximum battery charge level. Recommended 80% for daily use for battery health and efficiency. Adjust above 80% for longer trips.
Dual-Level Charge Cord
Includes 120-volt and 240-volt plugs for Level 1 and Level 2 charging (up to 32 amps). A NEMA 14-50 outlet is required for 240-volt charging.
Charging Status
Indicator on the instrument panel shows status:
- Solid blue: Successful initial plug-in.
- Flashing green: Charging in progress (flash length indicates charge level).
- Slow flashing blue: Charging delayed.
- Solid green: Charging complete.
- Flashing red: Not charging (check connection).
- No light: Not plugged in or issue with charger/outlet.
- No light + 3 tones: Charge port door open.
Start Charging
- Select Charging icon.
- Plug charge cord into an electrical outlet (DO NOT use an extension cord).
- Press charge port door (A) to open.
- Plug cord into charge port.
- Charging begins with flashing green indicator. Red indicates a connection issue.
Periodically check outlet/plug for heat.
End Charging
- When indicator is solid green, charging is complete.
- Unplug charge cord from vehicle by pressing the latch button.
- Press charge port door button (B) to close.
- Unplug cord from outlet.
DC Fast Charging
Provides quick charging at public stations, especially beneficial when below 80% charge. Factors affecting speed include station capability, battery level, and temperature.
MyChevrolet Mobile App
Manage charge notifications, view status, find charging stations, and plan routes. Offers EV Access features for connectivity.
