Getting to Know Your 2024 Chevrolet Trax

Keyless Entry and Starting

Remote Keyless Entry Transmitter (Key Fob)

Keyless Access System

Allows operation of doors and liftgate without removing the key fob. Ensure the fob is within 3 feet of the desired door or liftgate.

Door Key Access

If vehicle power is lost, use the physical key from the fob to access the lock cylinder located behind a cap on the driver's door handle.

Keyless (Push-Button) Start

Ignition and Engine Operation

Keyed Ignition (If Equipped)

Auto Engine Stop/Start Operation

The fuel-saving Engine Stop/Start system automatically turns off the engine when the vehicle is stopped under certain conditions. The engine restarts when the brake pedal is released or the accelerator is pressed.

Teen Driver

This feature allows for registered keys for new drivers, muting audio, preventing shifting out of Park if seat belts are not worn, and providing speed warnings. A Report Card tracks driving behavior.

Comfort and Convenience

Steering Wheel Adjustment

Use the lever under the steering column to adjust the wheel up/down and in/out. Pull the lever to lock it in place.

Digital Driver Information Center (DIC)

The DIC displays vehicle messages and system information, including a compass (A) and fuel gauge (B).

DIC Controls

Use the steering wheel controls to navigate menus and select information.

Cluster Display Layout

Press and hold the thumbwheel to access the display menu and select desired layouts.

Vehicle Information

Access vehicle status, maintenance details, gauges, and trip information via the infotainment screen. Items can be displayed on the DIC.

Infotainment System

Connect compatible devices via Bluetooth or USB for audio and hands-free voice control. For assistance, call 1-855-4-SUPPORT or visit chevrolet.com/support.

Managing Home Page Icons

Press the Home icon, then touch and hold an icon to move it to a desired position.

Storing Favorites

Tune to a radio station, select the Audio page, choose a favorite button, and touch and hold it to store.

Audio Sources

Select the current Source on the Audio page to choose your desired audio source or radio band.

SiriusXM with 360L

Offers over 200 channels of ad-free content. Subscription and Connected Access plan may be required. See siriusxm.com and onstar.com.

Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™

Available via compatible phones. Connect wirelessly via Bluetooth or wired via USB.

Portable Audio Devices

Connect iPod®, iPhone®, MP3 players, USB flash drives, or USB hard drives to the front console USB data port. Rear USB ports are for charging only.

Natural Voice Recognition

Control audio and make calls hands-free by pressing the "Push to Talk" button and speaking commands.

Bluetooth® System

Pair your Bluetooth-enabled device with the vehicle's system for hands-free operation. The vehicle must be stopped to pair.

Pair a Phone

Press "Push to Talk" or navigate to Phone > Manage Phones > Add Phone on the infotainment screen. Follow on-screen and phone instructions.

First to Connect Paired Phone

The system connects to the phone set as "First to Connect" in the Settings menu.

Wireless Phone Charging

Place compatible smartphones on the charging pad at the front of the center console. Ensure the vehicle is on or Retained Accessory Power is active.

4G LTE Wi-Fi® Hotspot

Connect up to 7 devices to the vehicle's Wi-Fi hotspot for high-speed internet. Information on services is available at onstar.com.

Manage your vehicle's climate settings.

Climate Display

Access and adjust climate controls via the infotainment screen's Climate icon.

Vehicle Customization

Customize features like Buckle to Drive and Driver Assistance via the Settings menu on the infotainment screen.

Exterior Lamp Controls

Instrument Panel Lighting

Press and release the knob to extend it, then turn to adjust brightness.

IntelliBeam System

Automatically turns high-beam headlamps on/off based on traffic conditions. A green indicator shows the system is on; a blue indicator shows high beams are active. Activate/deactivate by pushing the turn signal lever forward twice or pressing the Ⓑ button.

Cruise Control

Setting Cruise Control

Press the On/Off button. When traveling at the desired speed, press down the switch to SET. The Cruise Control or Adaptive Cruise Control symbol will illuminate green.

Adjusting Cruise Control

Adaptive Cruise Control

Maintains a selected following gap by accelerating or braking. Press the Following Gap button to select gap setting (Far, Medium, Near). Press and hold Cancel to switch between regular and adaptive cruise control.

Driver Assistance Systems

These features are aids and do not replace driver responsibility. Always remain attentive.

Chevy Safety Assist Package

Access settings via Settings > Vehicle > Collision/Detection Systems.

Lane Change Alert with Side Blind Zone Alert

Warns of vehicles in blind spots or approaching rapidly.

Rear Park Assist

Provides distance information and beeps during low-speed parking maneuvers.

Rear Cross-Traffic Alert

Warns of approaching cross-traffic when in Reverse.

Rear Vision Camera

Displays the area behind the vehicle in Reverse. Guidelines can be turned on/off.

Electric Parking Brake

Pull the switch to apply; press the switch while pressing the brake pedal and having the ignition on to release.

Transmission and Traction Systems

Automatic Transmission Manual Mode

Allows manual gear selection for limiting speed downhill. Move shift lever to L, then use +/- buttons on the lever.

Traction Control & StabiliTrak Systems

These systems limit wheel-spin and assist with directional control. They are on by default. Turn off Traction Control if the vehicle is stuck. Select the Traction Control icon on the infotainment screen to turn systems on/off.

Tire Pressure Monitoring with Tire Fill Alert

Monitors tire pressure and alerts when low. The Tire Fill Alert system signals when the correct tire pressure is reached during inflation.

Roadside Assistance

Enrollment in the Chevrolet Roadside Assistance program provides support for up to 5 years/60,000 miles. Call 1-800-CHEV-USA or 1-800-243-8872.

OnStar® Roadside Assistance

Press the blue OnStar button or red Emergency button for assistance. Visit onstar.com or call 1-888-4-ONSTAR.
