NEOMITIS INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
WALL FIXING SYSTEM FOR THE INSTALLATION OF AN ELECTRIC TOWEL RAILS WITHOUT DRILLING THE WALL
Overview
Thank you for your confidence and congratulations on choosing this product. This fixing system has been specially designed to install and connect an electric towel rail, in replacement of an old heating appliance, without drilling the wall.
This solution has been patented in the United Kingdom.
The system has a wall mounting plate that can be glued to any type of wall. The standard towel rails brackets are assembled to the support plate without drilling.
The connection box is integrated into the support plate and allows the towel rails to be wired to the existing power supply without removing the existing wall outlet.
The 100% recyclable cardboard feet provide stability during the adhesive setting phase and improve shear strength.
Pack Contains
- x1 Support plate
- x2 Removable support feet
- x1 Connection box
- x3 Wago 2-pole terminals
Installation
Removal of Existing Device
Turn off the power of the product by activating the circuit breaker at the switchboard and wait until the device is cold.
- Remove the device from its mounting brackets and cut the power cord with a pair of pliers (not supplied).
- Remove the mounting brackets from the wall and fill the holes in the wall with the adhesive.
Fixing System Preparation
- Insert the 4 mounting brackets into the slots on the support plate.
Installing, Connecting and Setting Up
Installing the fixing system
Important: To ensure optimal adhesion and sealing of the adhesive, the support plate must be placed on the wall within 10 minutes of applying the adhesive.
- Position the support plate at the location of the old device, in front of the cable outlet.
- Lay the plate against the wall with the 2 mounting feet on the ground.
- Apply pressure to the entire surface of the plate, pressing down evenly several times to compress the glue beads, then allow to dry.
Important: to ensure optimal adhesion and sealing of the adhesive, let it dry for 24 hours before installing the device on the plate.
Wiring
To be done by a qualified professional installer.
The power supply circuit of this device must include an all-pole disconnecting device with a contact opening distance of at least 3mm (according to the NF C15-100 standard), a differential protection (30mA) and an overload protection.
Before using the heater for the first time, check that the voltage used corresponds to the voltage indicated on the heater.
This heater is a class II appliance (double electrical insulation). Connection to ground is prohibited.
In accordance with electrical standards, you must not fit this cord with a plug for connection to a socket.
Electrical Connecting
Single-phase power supply 230V +/-10% ~ 50 Hz.
You must keep the pilot wire insulated if it is not used. Do not connect the pilot wire (black wire) to the earth.
- Blue wire: Neutral
- Brown wire: Phase
- Black wire: Pilot wire - If not used do not connect to the earth.
Important: To hold the cables in place and prevent any damages if they are pulled, fit 3 cable ties (not supplied) as shown in the diagram: 1 inside the wiring box on the 2 power supply cables, and 1 on each power supply cable, outside the wiring box.
Setting up of the towel rails on the wall-mounting brackets
Once the towel rail is in place on the fixing brackets, lock the installation in the following order:
- Setting up of the towel rails on the wall-mounting brackets.
- Insert the locking parts (1 per support) making sure to position the notches in the 2 grooves located below the head of the mobile support.
Finishing
Each locking part can be equipped with a small pad in translucent silicone. This pad serves to counterbalance the assembly and the mounting tolerances. If the setting up is not tight enough, you can add the second lower silicone pad provided in the plastic bag.
The towel rails is now secured and locked on its supports.
It is recommended to leave the feet in place for one week to ensure optimum support of the entire installation after the application of the adhesive. After this period, the legs can be left in place or removed. To do this, slide them out on either side of the towel rails.
IMPORTANT: Before heating on, it is imperative to remove the protective caps located at the ends of the towel rails. Indeed, these are exclusively intended to protect the edges of the device during transport.

Adhesive Technical Data Sheet Summary
This section provides technical details for the mounting adhesive used in the fixing system.
Product Information: The adhesive is a high-performance MS-Polymer based filler/adhesive with very high initial adhesion, good elasticity, and excellent shock and vibration resistance.
Application: It adheres without primer to most substrates and is suitable for various materials and applications, including structural bonding.
Features: Key features include very high initial adhesion, good adhesion to most materials (even damp substrates), no solvents or isocyanates, strength, permanent elasticity, and resistance to UV radiation and weathering.
Implementation: Surfaces must be clean, dry, dust- and grease-free. Apply adhesive in beads. Elements can be adjusted for 10 minutes after application.
Drying Time: The adhesive cures by reacting with air humidity, achieving approximately 4mm per 24 hours at 20°C and 60% RH.
Adhesive Quantity: The adhesive is applied in beads, with specific dimensions and spacing recommended for optimal bonding.
Technical Data: Includes details on curing system (moisture absorption), polymerisation rate (2.5 to 3 mm per 24 hours), skin formation time, specific gravity, Shore A hardness, joint movement, tensile strength, elongation at break, shear strength, solvent content (0%), isocyanate content (0%), and temperature resistance (-40°C to +90°C).
Storage: Store in original, frost-free packaging in a cool, dry place. Shelf life is 12 months in closed packaging.
Safety: Consult the safety data sheet for detailed safety information.
Notes to the user: All specifications are based on laboratory studies and experience. Users should test the product for their specific application and materials.
