Installation Guide

1. Attaching Your iPad

Place your iPad onto the magnetic stand. Ensure the camera hole on the case aligns perfectly with the iPad's camera for proper installation.

2. Detaching Your iPad

To remove your iPad, gently pull it upward from the stand.

3. Portability

Insert your iPad into the case, then fold the case for convenient portability.

Keyboard Indicators

Capital Indicator: [A symbol] - Indicates Caps Lock status.

Bluetooth Indicator: [BT symbol] - Shows Bluetooth pairing status.

Power Indicator: [Power symbol] - Shows power status.

Device Overview

Features a Power switch (OFF/ON) and a Type-C charging port.

Connecting with Your iPad

1. Turn on the keyboard power. Long press the Bluetooth key [Bluetooth symbol] for three seconds until the keyboard pairing light starts flashing.
2. On your iPad, go to Settings.
3. Enable Bluetooth on your iPad and ensure it is turned ON.
4. In the search menu under 'Other Devices', select "GL-Magic Keyboard". The wireless signal light will turn off once paired successfully.

Notice: The Bluetooth will automatically reconnect with your device the next time you use it.

Function Key Instructions

Bluetooth Pairing and Indicators

1. Power On Indicator

1.1 When turned ON, the red light stays on for 1 second and then turns off.

1.2 If the battery level is below 20%, the red light flashes slowly to indicate low power.

1.3 When turned OFF, the keyboard stops working.

2. Bluetooth Connection Methods

2.1 Initial Pairing:

a. Turn ON the keyboard; the red light stays on for 1 second and then turns off.

b. The Bluetooth indicator flashes to enter pairing mode.

2.2 Re-pairing:

a. Long press the Bluetooth key [Bluetooth symbol] for 3 seconds to enter pairing mode.

b. The blue light flashes 3 times per second to indicate pairing mode, with a broadcast time of 180 seconds.

c. The blue light turns off upon successful pairing. If pairing is unsuccessful, the backlight and all other indicators turn off, and the keyboard enters sleep mode.

3. Reconnect Bluetooth Indicator

3.1 After the first pairing is successful, turn off and on the keyboard to automatically enter Bluetooth reconnection mode.

3.2 The blue light flashes 3 times per second during reconnection mode.

3.3 The blue light turns off upon a successful connection within 5 seconds. If the connection fails, the backlight and all indicators turn off, and the keyboard enters sleep mode.

4. Charging Indicator

4.1 During Type-C charging, the red light stays on.

4.2 The red light turns off when fully charged, and the green light turns on.

4.3 Low Battery Indicator: When the battery power is less than 20% (3.2V), the red light flashes slowly (once per second) until the keyboard is turned off.

5. Caps Lock Indicator

5.1 For uppercase/lowercase ON/OFF, the white indicator light remains ON/OFF.

5.2 After connecting to an iPad, go to 'Settings' → 'General' → 'Physical Keyboard' to turn off the indicator using the Caps Lock key for language switching.

6. Keyboard Sleep Mode

6.1 The keyboard stops pairing if not operated within 3 minutes or if there is an abnormal connection. The backlight and indicators turn off, and the keyboard enters sleep mode.

6.2 After pairing, if the keyboard is idle for 30 seconds, the backlight turns off, and the keyboard enters standby mode.

6.3 If unused for 10 minutes, the keyboard enters sleep mode and can be woken by pressing any key on the keyboard (note: the trackpad cannot activate it).

6.4 Low Battery Behavior: If the battery is below 15% (3.1V to 3.15V), the backlight turns off. When the battery is above 20%, the backlight turns back on.

Reset Settings

Press [Key combination for reset] for 3 seconds. The indicator flashes 3 times to clear the keyboard pairing information and return to the second level of white backlight.

Gesture Instructions

Basic Gestures

Tap: Press with one finger until you feel a slight click.

Tap and hold: Press and hold with one finger.

Drag: Tap and hold an item, then swipe your finger across the trackpad to move it.

Navigation Gestures

Open the Dock: Swipe the pointer across the bottom of the screen with one finger.

Go to the Home Screen: Swipe the pointer across the bottom of the screen with one finger. Once the Dock appears, swipe the pointer across the bottom of the screen again, or tap the bar at the bottom of the screen.

Open Control Center: Move the pointer with one finger to select the status icon in the upper right, then tap. Alternatively, select the status icon in the upper right and swipe up with one finger.

Scrolling Gestures

Scroll up or down: Swipe up or down using two fingers.

Scroll left or right: Swipe left or right with two fingers.

Advanced Gestures

Open Search: Swipe down with two fingers.

Zoom: Place two fingers close together. Pinch to zoom in, or reverse pinch to zoom out.

Open the Today view: When the Home or Lock screen is visible, swipe right with two fingers.

Switch between open apps: Swipe left or right with three fingers.

Go to the Home Screen: Swipe up with three fingers.

Open the App Switcher: Swipe up with three fingers, pause, then lift your fingers. Alternatively, pinch with four fingers, pause, and lift your fingers.

Notice:

1. Operating system: iOS 15.0 and above (equipment must support touch).
2. Touch settings (after pairing successfully): Go to Settings → General → Trackpad → Click / Double fingers assist point (on).
3. Sensitivity settings: Go to Settings → General → Trackpad → Tracking Speed (adjust to a suitable speed).
4. Abnormal touch function: Go to Settings → Auxiliary Function → Touch → Auxiliary touch (open or close).
