Mounting Options

Surface Mounting

The surface mounting ears allow the device to be mounted on top or under a surface, desktop, or podium, or vertically on a wall or partition. They can be installed to face either the top or bottom of the unit.

The DT20-M comes with surface mounting ears and preassembled insert bars. To mount, position the ears centrally on each side of the unit, aligned with the threaded holes on the insert bars, facing either up or down as required. Secure them using the 4x M3x6mm screws provided in the package.

For surface mounting of a standard DT20, the optional surface mounting kit DT-SMK is available.

Rack Mounting

Up to two units can be rack-mounted in a single 1U rack space with the optional rack kit DT-RK19.

Front Panel Overview

The front panel features two combi XLR/TRS input sockets, labeled '1', for balanced mic/line inputs. The TRS inputs include an integrated 20dB Pad for line-level signals. Two rotary controls, labeled '2', manage the analogue gain for the preamps, offering a range from 0dB to 55dB. These knobs are removable and can be replaced with blanking lids for security. A button labeled 'PP', marked '3', serves as the +48V Phantom Power switch and indicator.

Rear Panel Overview

The rear panel is equipped with a Dante EtherCon port, labeled '1', for connecting to the Dante network and features a Link/Activity LED indicator. This port supports Power over Ethernet (PoE) from a compatible switch or injector. Two LEDs are present, labeled '2': a Power LED and a Ready indicator, which illuminates when the unit is fully booted and operational. A recessed button, labeled '3' and marked 'Factory Reset', allows for resetting network settings. Holding this button during power-up and for at least 10 seconds before releasing will reset network configurations, including IP address, to factory defaults (DHCP/zero-conf). Finally, a DC 12V input connector, labeled '4', is provided for an external power supply.
