02. Intel LGA 1700/1200/115X Installation
Step 1: Prepare Motherboard and Brackets
Carefully peel off the protective film from the heatsink base (A). Apply a small amount of thermal paste (E) to the center of the CPU's Integrated Heat Spreader (IHS).
Attach the Intel mounting brackets (C) to the motherboard using the appropriate screws (F) and standoffs (G). Ensure the brackets are oriented correctly for your specific Intel socket (LGA 1700 or LGA 1200/115X).
Step 2: Mount the Heatsink
Place the heatsink assembly onto the CPU, aligning the mounting posts with the standoffs. Secure the heatsink by tightening the screws (part of F/G assembly) in a cross pattern.
Step 3: Attach Fans
Clip the fans onto the heatsink. The arrows on the fan housing indicate airflow direction; orient the fans to push air through the heatsink fins.
03. AMD AM5/AM4 Installation
Step 1: Prepare Motherboard and Brackets
Install the AMD mounting bracket (D) onto the motherboard's default mounting points using the provided standoffs (G and H). Ensure the bracket is aligned correctly for AM5/AM4 sockets.
Step 2: Mount the Heatsink
Place the heatsink assembly onto the CPU, aligning the mounting mechanism with the installed AMD bracket. Secure the heatsink by tightening the screws in a cross pattern.
Step 3: Attach Fans
Clip the fans onto the heatsink. The arrows on the fan housing indicate airflow direction; orient the fans to push air through the heatsink fins.
04. Fan and RGB Connections
Connect the fan power cables to the motherboard fan headers. Use cable (I) for 3-pin Addressable RGB (compatible with ASUS, ASRock, MSI, GIGABYTE) and cable (J) for standard 4-pin PWM fan power. Connect the RGB cable to the appropriate header (e.g., G D 5V Pin1).
