SELECT INSIDE / OUTSIDE MEASUREMENT

The device allows for selecting between inside and outside measurements. An illustration shows the tape measure with the display reading '18' for one mode and '50' for another.

AUTO SHUT-OFF

The 2-in-1 Digital Laser Tape Measure will shut off after 5 minutes of non-use. To turn the device back on, simply pull out the tape blade a few times to activate.

DUAL MEMORY (RECORD)

To record measurements, press the [M1+] button to store the current reading in memory slot 1, or press the [M2+] button to store it in memory slot 2.

BACKLIGHT ON LCD

The backlight on the LCD screen will activate for 30 seconds when the tape is pulled out or when a button is pressed.

DUAL MEMORY (RECALL)

To recall a stored measurement, press the [MR] button for 1 second.

DIGITAL FUNCTION

All digital functions are applied to laser mode as well as tape measure mode.

LASER DISTANCE METER MODE (SINGLE MEASUREMENT)

To use the laser distance meter, click the [MODE] button to switch to laser mode. Click [MODE] again to activate the laser dot on the target. Click [MODE] once more to capture a single distance measurement, displayed as '82.0'.

CHANGE TO TAPE MEASURE MODE FROM LASER MODE

Simply pull the tape out and select tape mode.

LASER DISTANCE MEASUREMENT (CONTINUED)

For continuous measurement, press and hold the [MODE] button for 1 second while in single laser mode. Click [MODE] again to activate the laser for continuous measurement. Move the device back and forth while the laser is active to take continuous readings. The display shows '82.0'.

BATTERY CHARGING

To charge the device, open the charge port cover and connect a USB (Micro 5-pin) cable. An LED indicator shows charging status: ? RED: Charging, ? GREEN: Fully Charged.

MIDPOINT

To calculate the midpoint of an object, press and hold the designated button for 1 second. Press the button again for 1 second to exit midpoint mode.

BLADE LOCK

To lock the tape blade in place, slide the switch to [LOCK]. To release the blade and retract the tape, slide the switch to [RELEASE].

HOLD FUNCTION

Press the [HOLD] button to retain the last measured value on the display. Press [HOLD] again to resume normal measuring.

SELECT / CONVERT UNITS

The device supports various units of measurement, including inches, feet, and metric. Press the [IN/CM] button to toggle between inches and centimeters.
