Thank you for purchasing the Macally Bluetooth mouse. The mouse is a rechargeable Bluetooth wireless optical mouse with a 800/1200/1600 DPI switch button, two soft-click buttons, and a scroll wheel/button for precise and smooth control. The ergonomic and ambidextrous design offers maximum comfort to both left-handed and right-handed users and helps to increase productivity. The 300mAh built-in rechargeable battery will power the mouse for up to 2 months before the next charging is required. No need to buy and replace batteries anymore! The Macally Bluetooth mouse works with Mac, PC, iOS/iPadOS, and Android, and doesn't require any driver.

Hardware Basics
Diagram shows the mouse components. Top view includes: Channel status LEDs (labeled B1, B2, B3), Charging port, ON/OFF switch, Left and right Buttons, BT push button (for channel switch and Bluetooth pairing), DPI switch (800/1200/1600), and Scroll wheel/Button. Bottom view shows the Optical sensor (800/1200/1600 dpi) and the ON/OFF switch.
The DPI switch allows selection between 800, 1200, and 1600 DPI. The Battery charging indicator LED is red while charging and green when fully charged.
Connection diagram shows a charging cable connecting a USB charger or computer USB port to the mouse's charging port.
Channel Status LED Note:
- 1. Quick flash: In pairing mode (either the first time or BT button pressed for 3 seconds).
- 2. Slow flash: Waiting to connect to the previously paired device.
- 3. Off: Connected to device and working normally, or timed out in searching/connecting.
When all 3 LEDs are off, press the BT button briefly to switch the channel.
Installation Instructions
The Macally Bluetooth mouse only requires a computer or a mobile device with Bluetooth host. After following the steps below, you are ready to go! You can set up and use one device in one channel, or two or all three channels to use more devices. To switch between devices, just press the BT push button in the mouse; it is really quick and easy.
Bluetooth Pairing the Mouse
With Mac
- To connect the mouse to your Mac computer by Bluetooth, bring it within 1 ft/25 cm range from your computer.
- Turn on the mouse, press the BT push button briefly to select an unused channel (B1, B2, or B3). The LED will flash quickly to indicate pairing mode.
- Click your Mac's Bluetooth icon, then go to Bluetooth Settings. Ensure Bluetooth is turned on and searching for nearby devices.
- "Macally Bluetooth x3 Mouse" will appear. Select it and click "Connect".
- After the mouse is paired with the Mac computer, you are ready to use it.
With Windows PC
- To connect the mouse to your computer by Bluetooth, bring it within 1 ft/25 cm range from your computer.
- In Windows Settings, go to 'Devices and Printers' and select 'Bluetooth Devices'. Make sure Bluetooth is On.
- Turn on the mouse, press the BT push button briefly to select an unused channel (B1, B2, or B3). The LED will flash quickly to indicate pairing mode.
- Click 'Add a device' at the top left corner.
- "Macally Bluetooth x3 Mouse" will appear. Select it and press 'Next'.
With iPad and iPhone
- To connect the Bluetooth mouse to your iPad or iPhone, bring them together within 1 ft range.
- Turn on the mouse, press the BT push button briefly to select an unused channel (B1, B2, or B3). The LED will flash quickly to indicate pairing mode.
- On your iPad or iPhone, go to Settings, select Accessibility, tap on Touch, and set AssistiveTouch to 'on'. In the AssistiveTouch menu, tap 'Devices' under POINTER DEVICES, then tap on 'Bluetooth Devices'. This will start searching for a new Bluetooth mouse.
- Once the Bluetooth mouse is discovered, select it from the list. Your iPad or iPhone will prompt to request pairing.
- Once the Bluetooth mouse appears as "Connected", you are ready to go. A circular pointer cursor will appear on your iPad or iPhone screen. You can move the cursor, perform left and right clicks, and scroll pages with the scroll wheel, just as you would with a regular mouse.
With Android Device
- To connect the Bluetooth mouse to your Android device, bring them together within 1 ft range.
- Turn on the mouse, press the BT push button briefly to select an unused channel (B1, B2, or B3). The LED will flash quickly to indicate pairing mode.
- On your Android device, go to Settings, select 'Connected devices', ensure Bluetooth is on, tap to open Bluetooth, tap 'Pair new devices', and then tap to select the discovered Bluetooth mouse to pair.
- Once the Bluetooth mouse appears as 'Connected' in the list, you are ready to use the mouse.
Standard Button Functions
- Left button: Set as left click, single and double clicks.
- Right button: Set as right click or menu button.
- Scroll wheel: Scroll speed is set as medium.
- DPI button: Press the DPI button to change the sensor resolution (800/1200/1600 DPI) and set the tracking speed and precision to your preference.
Important Notes
- Macally Bluetooth Mouse will go to sleep mode if it is not in use (or inactive) for 2 hours. When it is disconnected from the device, you can click on the mouse button to wake it up and reconnect it to the device.
- Battery life may vary depending on user and computing conditions.

Warranty
Macally warrants that this product will be free from defects in title, materials, and manufacturing workmanship for one year in North America from the date of purchase. If the product is found to be defective, then, as your sole remedy and as the manufacturer's only obligation, Macally will repair or replace the product. This warranty is exclusive and is limited to the Macally mouse. This warranty shall not apply to products that have been subjected to abuse, abnormal electrical or environmental conditions, or any condition other than what can be considered normal use. The liability of Macally arising from this warranty and sale shall be limited to a refund of the purchase price. In no event shall Macally be liable for costs of procurement of substitute products or services, or for any lost profits, or for any consequential, incidental, direct, or indirect damages, however caused and on any theory of liability, arising from this warranty and sale. These limitations shall apply notwithstanding any failure of essential purpose of any limited remedy.
