Known Issues/Bugs
- Network password is disabled.
- Front panel log dumping to a USB drive is active, but the front panel does not provide notification when the log dump is complete. Wait for 20 seconds after initiating a log dump before removing the USB drive. Log dumps can also be initiated from the GraceNet web UI.
- Small bursts of noise can be captured from ADCs on sample rate changes.
- Meters may display erroneous data from boot until a valid clock source is selected or when sample rate changes.
- Occasionally, the front panel power switch may not turn the m701 off. In such cases, the AC power switch on the rear panel can be used.
- The system may behave unpredictably after changing the serial number, hostname, or IP settings. It is recommended to reboot the unit after modifying these values.
- DAC modules may produce pops and noise during power on and off cycles. If connected directly to loudspeakers, it is advised to power off amplifiers before turning the m701 on or off. This will be rectified in the next firmware release.
- Firmware updates will not function unless the m701 has been connected to a network with access to the internet and date/time servers. Please contact Grace Design technical support if this presents an issue.
