Product Care

Storing the Headphones

Follow these steps to store your headphones:

  1. Grip firmly around both sides of the headphone with one hand.
  2. Grasp the headphone headband wire with your other hand.
  3. Push down on the headband wire while firmly holding both sides of the headphone with the other hand. This will cause the headphone to fold in a controller manner.
  4. Place headphones into the case as shown.

Important Warning: DO NOT FOLD CUPS ONE AT A TIME, AS THIS WILL RESULT IN DAMAGE TO THE HEADPHONES.

The storage process is illustrated with four steps. Step 1 shows gripping the headphone cups. Step 2 shows grasping the headband wire. Step 3 shows folding the headphone by pushing the headband wire. Step 4 shows placing the folded headphones into the case. A visual warning symbol with a red 'X' indicates the incorrect method of folding cups individually.

Warranty

Dan Clark Audio offers a 2-year warranty for headphones, commencing on the date of purchase and covering the headphone cable and accessories.

The warranty is transferable provided there is documentation of original purchase that confirms the purchaser bought the headphones in their country of residence. Warranty is void and non-transferable for "Gray Market" headphones (e.g., international customers purchasing from US resellers and shipping to a friend or freight-forward for export to any country without an authorized reseller).

Warranty does not cover damage caused by the owner (dismantling the unit, dropping, damage by failure of electronics, etc.) or naturally occurring compression or other wear to ear pads. Acts of God and other usual caveats apply, reinforcing that a warranty issue is something Dan Clark Audio did wrong, or that was intrinsically wrong with the product received from suppliers. Dan Clark Audio will repair or replace defective goods at their discretion.
