Router Setup Steps
Step 1: Prepare Your Modem

Disconnect Power
Unplug the power cable from your modem (DSL or other). If your modem has a backup battery, remove it. [unplug icon]

Connect Modem to Router
Connect your modem to the router's WAN port using the provided network cable.

Power On Modem
Plug the modem into a power outlet and turn it on.

Verify Modem Connection
Check the modem's indicator lights to ensure the connection is established.
[Note: If using DSL for internet access, you will need the username and password provided by your ISP to configure your router.]
Step 2: Install Your Router

Connect Power Adapter
Connect the power adapter to the router's DCIN port and press the power switch. [power button]

Power LED Indicator
The power LED will light up when the hardware is ready.
Step 3: Connect to the Network
Via the ASUS Router App

Download the App
On iOS or Android, open your app store, search for "ASUS Router", and download the application. [App Store icon], [Google Play icon]

Connect to Default WiFi
On iOS or Android, go to Settings > WiFi, and connect to the network named with the default SSID displayed on the label at the back of the router. You can also scan the QR code on the label to connect to the default SSID. [WiFi icon]

Complete Setup via App
Launch the ASUS Router app and follow the on-screen instructions to finish the configuration.
Or via a Web Browser

Connect Your Device
[Wired] Connect your computer to a LAN port on the router using an additional network cable. [Wired connection icon]
[WiFi] Connect to the network named with the default SSID displayed on the router's back label ("ASUS_XX"). [WiFi icon]

Access Setup Assistant
[Wired/WiFi] Open a web browser. You will be automatically redirected to the ASUS setup assistant. If not, navigate to http://www.asusrouter.com. Follow the instructions to complete the setup.
Enable 10GE LAN Port
Configure 2.5GE WAN Connection
With Default Settings

Connect to 2.5GE WAN Port
Connect your modem to the 2.5GE WAN port using a network cable.

Access ASUS Setup Assistant
[ASUS Setup Assistant] Select "Manual Setting".

Configure 2.5G WAN
[ASUS Setup Assistant] Select "2.5G WAN" and follow the instructions to configure the SSID and connection information.
Getting Started
After completing the setup steps, the router will restart and connect to the internet via the 2.5GE port.

The maximum antenna gain permitted for devices in the bands 5250-5350 MHz and 5470-5725 MHz shall be such that the equipment still complies with the e.i.r.p. limit.
The maximum antenna gain permitted for devices in the band 5725-5850 MHz shall be such that the equipment still complies with the e.i.r.p. limits specified for point-to-point and non-point-to-point operation as appropriate.
Safety Notices
Use this product in environments with ambient temperatures between 0°C (32°F) and 40°C (104°F).
Refer to the rating label on the bottom of your product and ensure your power adapter complies with this rating.

The power supply cord(s) must be plugged into socket-outlet(s) that is/are provided with a suitable earth ground.
