Kodak PIXPRO ORBIT360 4K Quick Start Guide
1. Camera Views
The Kodak PIXPRO ORBIT360 4K camera features the following components:
- 1 Speaker
- 2 Wi-Fi® Indicator
- 3 Wi-Fi® Button / Direction Button (down) / Remote Control Pairing (press and hold)
- 4 Lens B (235 Degrees)
- 5 Lens Status Indicator B
- 6 Power Button
- 7 Status Indicator
- 8 LCD
- 9 Microphone
- 10 Video Record Button / Shooting Button / OK Button
- 11 Lens A (155 Degrees)
- 12 Lens Status Indicator A
- 13 Menu Button / Direction Button (up) / Mode Switching (press and hold)
- 14 Battery Door Cover
- 15 Battery Door Cover (open/close)
- 16 Battery Door Cover Lock
- 17 Positioning Mount Receptor
- 18 1/4" Screw Socket
2. Insert the Battery and Memory Card
Follow these steps to insert the battery and memory card:
- Set the battery door lock to the left and slide the battery door open switch downward.
- Insert the Li-ion battery, aligning the + and - symbols with the connectors in the battery compartment.
- Insert a microSD / microSDHC / microSDXC memory card (Class 10 or higher, 8GB to 256GB capacity) into the card slot, pushing the bottom end fully into the slot.
- Close the battery door until it clicks, then slide the battery door lock to the right.
3. Setting the Date / Time
Upon first turning on the camera, you will be prompted to set the date and time:
- The display will show the date and time setting interface: "Year/Month/Day/Hour: Minute : Second".
- The field to be edited will be highlighted. Use the (up) or (down) buttons to adjust the value. Press the button to confirm the entry.
- After setting the "Minute : Second" value, press the button to exit and enter the main interface.
4. Setting Camera Modes
To change camera modes:
- From the Main Camera interface, press and hold the (up) button to access the Mode selection menu.
- Use the (up) or (down) buttons to navigate through the modes. Press the button to select and enter the desired mode.
Available modes include: Movie Mode, Photo Mode, Time-Lapse Photo Mode, Loop Recording Mode, Time-Lapse Video Mode, High-Speed Movie Mode, Burst Mode.
5. Setting Menu Modes
To access and adjust settings:
- From the Main Camera interface, press the (up) button to enter the menu selection for the current mode.
- Use the (up) or (down) buttons to select the desired item. Press the button to enter and confirm the option.
- Press the button to return to the main menu interface.

6. Record 360° Videos and Photographs
- To record video: Press the button to start recording and press the button again to stop.
- To capture photos: In photo shooting mode, press the button to take a picture.
7. Remote Control Options (ANDROID and iOS Systems)
Connect your smart device to the camera for remote control:
1. Download the PIXPRO 360 VR Remote Viewer APP:
- For iOS devices: Search for and download the "PIXPRO 360 VR Remote Viewer" APP from the App Store.
- For ANDROID devices: Search for and download the "PIXPRO 360 VR Remote Viewer" APP from Google Play.
2. Wi-Fi® Connection:
- Check the SSID (PIXPRO-ORBIT360_XXXX) on the camera's battery compartment label.
- On the camera, press the (down) button to enter Wi-Fi® mode. The randomized Wi-Fi® password will be displayed on the “Waiting Connect” screen.
- On your smart device, enable Wi-Fi® and search for nearby hotspots. Select the SSID (PIXPRO-ORBIT360_XXXX) and enter the displayed password.
- Once connected, open the APP.
Note: The Wi-Fi® password is unique and randomized for security compliance.
3. NFC Connection (ANDROID Systems only):
- Enable NFC mode on your smart device.
- Lightly touch your smart device to the NFC printed letters on the camera. A prompt tone or vibration indicates a successful connection.
- The APP will open automatically.
Note: NFC functionality requires the smart device's screen to be unlocked.
8. Connect to a PC via Wi-Fi® (Mac and Windows Systems only)
Control your camera from your computer:
- Download the "PIXPRO 360 VR Suite" installation packages for MAC or Windows from the official kodakpixpro.com website and install it.
- Camera Setup: Check the SSID (PIXPRO-ORBIT360_XXXX) on the camera's battery compartment label. In the camera's main interface, press the (down) button to switch to Wi-Fi® mode. The Wi-Fi® password will be displayed on the “Waiting Connect” screen.
- PC Connection: Enable Wi-Fi® on your computer. Search for nearby Wi-Fi® hotspots, select the camera's SSID (PIXPRO-ORBIT360_XXXX), and input the password. Double-click the APP icon on your desktop to launch it.
9. Remote Control Pairing
Pair a remote control with your camera:
- From the Main Camera interface, press and hold the (down) button for 2 seconds to enter pairing mode.
- Press and hold the and buttons on the remote control simultaneously until pairing is successful.
