Kodak Pixpro FZ55 Digital Camera Quick Start Guide

Getting Started

Inserting the Battery and Memory Card

  1. Open the battery cover door.
  2. Insert the battery into the battery compartment.
  3. Insert the memory card into the memory slot.
  4. Close the battery cover door.

Setting the Language, Date, and Time

  1. Turn the camera on using the power button. The language menu will appear.
  2. Use the arrow buttons ([▲ DISP.], [▼], [◀], [▶]) to select a language and press the [SET] button to confirm.
  3. Use the arrow buttons again to set the date and time, and press the [SET] button to confirm.

Taking a Picture

  1. Hold the camera securely.
  2. Use the zoom button to zoom in (Tele) or out (Wide) on your subject.
  3. Press the shutter button halfway to focus. When the focus frame turns green, press the shutter button completely to take the photo.

Using Camera Features

Fast Video Recording

In shooting mode, press the video recording button [▶] to start recording. Press it again to stop recording. The video will be saved and the camera will return to the shooting screen.
