Product Overview
The headset features an AI ENC microphone (1), a charging indicator (2), a Type-C charging port (3), a 'Do Not Disturb' indicator (4), a 'Do Not Disturb' button (5), Volume+/Next Track button (6), MFB (Multi-Function Button) (7), Volume-/Previous Track button (8), and a Bluetooth transmitter (9).
Operation Guide
Multi-Function Button (MFB)
- Press and hold for 3 seconds: Power ON/OFF
- Single Click: Play/Pause music, Answer/End call
- Triple Click: Wake up voice assistant (Siri/Google Assistant)
Do Not Disturb Button
- Single Click: Activate/Deactivate 'Do Not Disturb' mode
Volume Buttons
- Single Click (+ or -): Adjust Volume Up/Down
- Press and hold for 2 seconds (+ or -): Next/Previous Track
Microphone Mute On/Off
- Lower the microphone: Mute Off (Enable audio)
- Pull up the microphone: Mute On (Disable audio)
Call Functions
Call Handling
- Answer Call: Single click MFB when there is an incoming call.
- Reject Call: Press and hold MFB for 2 seconds when there is an incoming call.
- Redial: Double click MFB.
- Three-way Call Mode: During a call, double click MFB to switch to three-way call mode.
- Switch between two calls: During a three-way call, double click MFB to switch between calls.
New Call
When a new call comes in during an active call, you can:
- Answer the new call and keep the current call: Double click MFB.
- Keep the current call and reject the new call: Press and hold MFB for 2 seconds.
Audio Switching
During a call, you can switch the audio output between the headset and another device.
Bluetooth Pairing
- Turn on the headset. The Bluetooth indicator will flash red and blue alternately, indicating it is in pairing mode.
- Turn on Bluetooth on your device and select "EKSA H6F". Upon successful connection, the LED will flash blue slowly, and you will hear a voice prompt: "Your headset is connected".
Note:
- When connecting, keep the headset and device within 1 meter.
- If required, the PIN code is "0000".
- If there is no connection with any device for 10 minutes, the headset will automatically shut down.
- After the headset is turned on, it will automatically connect to the last connected device.
Dual Pairing
- After successfully connecting the headset to Device A, turn off Bluetooth on Device A. The headset's Bluetooth indicator will flash red and blue alternately to enter pairing mode.
- Turn on Device B, search for and connect to "EKSA H6F".
- Turn on Bluetooth on Device A to connect with "EKSA H6F". After connection, the EKSA H6F and both Device A and Device B will be in a connected state simultaneously.
Reset
In the connected/pairing state, press and hold the "MFB button" and the "Do Not Disturb button" simultaneously for 6 seconds. The LED will light up blue and red simultaneously for 1 second, indicating that the pairing information has been cleared.
Charging
- When the battery is less than 10%, the headset will prompt "battery low" every 3 minutes. Please charge it as soon as possible.
- If the headset is not in use for an extended period, charge it at least once every 2 months.
- Please use the original charging cable for charging. The charging voltage should not exceed 5V.
Important Safety Instructions
- Read and keep all safety and use instructions.
- Do NOT use the headphones at a high volume for any extended period.
- To avoid hearing damage, use your headphones at a comfortable, moderate volume level.
- Turn the volume down on your device before placing the headphones in/on your ears, then turn the volume up gradually until you reach a comfortable listening level.
- Do NOT use your headphones while driving for phone calls or any other purpose.
- Do NOT use the headphones at any time when the inability to hear surrounding sounds may present a danger to yourself or others (e.g., while riding a bicycle or walking in or near traffic, a construction site, or railroad). Remove the headphones, or turn down the volume, to ensure you can hear surrounding sounds, including alarms and warning signals.
- Be aware of how sounds that you rely on as reminders or warnings may vary in character when using the headphones.
- Do NOT use the headphones if they emit any loud unusual noise. If this happens, turn the headphones off and contact EKSA customer service.
- To reduce the risk of fire or electrical shock, do NOT expose this product to rain, liquids, or moisture.
- Do NOT make unauthorized alterations to this product.
- Use this product only with an agency-approved power supply that meets local regulatory requirements (e.g., UL, CSA, VDE, CCC).
- Do NOT expose products containing batteries to excessive heat (e.g., from storage in direct sunlight, fire, or the like).
- Remove headphones immediately if you experience a warming sensation or loss of audio.
- Do NOT use mobile phone adapters to connect headphones to airplane seat jacks, as this could result in injury or property damage due to overheating.
- Do NOT use the headphones as aviation communication headsets except in emergency situations.
- No incoming audio will be heard with a discharged or improperly installed battery. This could result in the potential of missed communications while piloting an aircraft.
- Extremely loud ambient noise levels common to many propeller-driven aircraft may impair your ability to receive incoming audio communications, particularly during takeoff and climb out.
- The headphones are not engineered for noise conditions, altitude, temperature, or other environmental conditions common in non-commercial aircraft, resulting in possible interference to critical communications.
- Contains small parts which may be a choking hazard. Not suitable for children under age 3.
- This product contains magnetic material. Consult your physician on whether this might affect your implantable medical device.
