Product Details
The card reader is a circular device with a braided USB-C cable. It features an SD card slot on one side and a TF card slot on another. The top surface is black with the SmallRig logo and is designed as a magnetic surface for attachment.
Notice: ⚠ Hot swapping may result in data loss.
Setup steps: Insert memory card before installing the card reader.
Removal steps: Remove the card reader before taking out the memory card.
Product Installation
1. Insert the Memory Card
Press the card into the designated slot.
Note: Insert memory card prior to card reader installation to ensure optimal performance. Failure to do so may prevent normal reading.
2. Setup the Card Reader
Attach the card reader to your phone using its magnetic surface. For Android phones, this function can be used after purchasing separate Magnetic Rings.
Locate the File
For iOS Users:
Navigate to: Files > Browse > NO NAME.
For Android Users:
Navigate to: My Files > Files > OTG.
Product Disconnection
1. Disconnect from iPhones
Directly unplug the card reader. The iOS system does not provide a pop-up notification.
Note: Disconnect the card reader before removing the memory card to avoid data loss.
2. Disconnect from Android Phones
Click on the "Safe Removal" option (e.g., "Tap to remove USB device safely") before unplugging the card reader.
