Important Safety Instructions

Setup & Installation

A. System Components: Refer to the diagram for identification of all parts.

B. Prepping the PondSeries for Installation:

  1. Ensure a power source is accessible near the pond. If not, consult a licensed electrician.
  2. Mount the Control Panel securely next to the power source. Refer to the control panel manual for installation and wiring instructions. If you are unable to perform this, contact a Certified Airmax Service Technician.
  3. Choose Your Spray Pattern: The PondSeries automatically creates the classic pattern without a nozzle. To change patterns (Trumpet, Crown & Trumpet), unscrew the nozzle nut, replace the pattern, and hand-tighten the nozzle nut. It is recommended to remove the nozzle nut when using the classic pattern.
  4. Assembling the Unit:
    • Lay the float flat with the Airmax logo facing up.
    • Place the fountain pump assembly into the center of the float, ensuring the power cord passes through the center hole.
    • Securely attach the power cord to the fountain pump lead quick disconnect.
    • Attach the power cord strain relief to the D-ring on the intake basket assembly.
    • Attach a mooring cable (not included) using the two outside mounting locations on opposite sides of the float.
  5. Installing the Airmax LED Fountain Light Set (Sold Separately): Clip the light into the mounting spot on the float and secure with the tension screw. Connect the light set power cord to the quick disconnect. Adjust lights to the desired direction. Attach the light set power cord strain relief to a loop under the float mount ring.
  6. Installing the PondSeries Fountain into your Pond or Lake:
    • Ensure a minimum of 36" of water depth for proper operation.
    • Tie one end of the mooring rope to a stake and place it securely in the ground.
    • Walk around the pond, pulling the fountain across the water, and secure the other end of the mooring rope to a second stake.
    • Ensure both mooring ropes are snug to prevent twisting or shifting.
    • For anchoring with blocks, spread them apart to keep mooring lines snug and prevent the fountain from spinning.
