System Wiring

The system wiring illustrates connectivity via 3G/4G/5G WiFi (?) and a WiFi router to the Tuya Cloud (☁️). Mobile phones (?) or voice assistants like Amazon ECHO (?) can control the L1(WT) dimmer. The L1(WT) controller then connects to a 0-10V dimmable LED driver, which powers an LED light. The diagram shows typical distances for RF control (30m) and WiFi control (15m).

Optional RF remotes (single zone or panel) can also be used.

Note (?):

• Distances are measured in open spaces and may vary.
• Ensure your WiFi router operates on the 2.4GHz band; 5GHz is not supported.
• Keep L1(WT) devices close to the WiFi router for optimal signal strength.

Wiring Diagram

The wiring diagram shows connections for AC input (L, N, A1, A2), 0/1-10V signal output terminals (DIM+, DIM-, GND), and connections to a dimmable driver (ACL, V+, V-) and a single-color LED strip. It also details how a push switch connects to the device for manual control.

Push Switch Wiring: Connects to the push switch terminals.

Push-Dim Function:

• Short press: Turns the light on or off (✔️/❌).
• Long press (1-6s): Initiates step-less dimming. Each subsequent long press reverses the dimming direction.

Note (?):

• Recommended maximum of 50 LED drivers per 0/1-10V dimmer.
• Maximum wire length from dimmer to LED driver: 50 meters.
• To change light on/off time (between 3s and 0.5s), switch off power, then switch on, and immediately short press the match key 3 times.

0-10V or 1-10V Dimming Setting

Select the appropriate dimmer type (0-10V or 1-10V) based on the dimmable LED driver specifications. The graphs illustrate the relationship between brightness percentage and the output voltage for both 0-10V and 1-10V modes.

• 0-10V Dimmer Graph: Shows output voltage from 0V to 10V corresponding to 0% to 100% brightness.
• 1-10V Dimmer Graph: Shows output voltage from approximately 1V to 10V corresponding to 0% to 100% brightness.

L1(WT) Match RF Remote Control (Optional)

Users can match RF remotes using two methods:

Method 1: Using the L1(WT)'s Match Key

• Match: Short press the L1(WT) match key, then immediately press the ON/OFF or zone key on the remote.
• Delete: Press and hold the L1(WT) match key for 10 seconds to delete all paired remotes. The indicator light blinks 5 times.

Method 2: Using Power Restart

• Match: Switch off and then on the L1(WT) power. Immediately short press the remote's ON/OFF or zone key 3 times. The indicator light blinks 3 times upon successful match.
• Delete: Switch off and then on the L1(WT) power. Immediately short press the remote's ON/OFF or zone key 5 times. The indicator light blinks 5 times upon successful deletion.

L1(WT) as WiFi-RF Converter

The L1(WT) can act as a WiFi-RF converter to control other RF dimming LED controllers or drivers via the Tuya APP. Users can match RF devices using two methods:

Method 1: Using the Controller's Match Key

• Match: Short press the controller's match key, then immediately press the ON/OFF key in the Tuya APP. The LED indicator flashes to confirm.
• Delete: Press and hold the controller's match key for 5 seconds. The LED indicator flashes to confirm deletion.

Method 2: Using Power Restart

• Match: Switch off and then on the controller's power. Immediately short press the ON/OFF key in the Tuya APP 3 times. The light blinks 3 times upon successful match.
• Delete: Switch off and then on the controller's power. Immediately short press the ON/OFF key in the Tuya APP 5 times. The light blinks 5 times upon successful deletion.

Tuya APP Network Connection and Operation

Network Connection:

• Smart Config Mode: Press and hold the Match/Set key for 2 seconds, or push it twice quickly. The blue LED indicator will flash rapidly.
• AP Config Mode: Press and hold the Match/Set key for 5 seconds. The blue LED indicator will flash slowly. (Try AP config if Smart config fails).
• Upon successful connection, the blue LED indicator stops flashing, and the device appears as "DIM device" in the Tuya APP.

Tuya APP Interface Operation:

Use the touch brightness slider to adjust light intensity.
