The blender consists of the following parts:
Diagram Description: An exploded view shows the blender's components. The jug (3) attaches to the motor unit (7) via a locking mechanism (6). The lid (2) with a measuring cup insert (1) seals the jug. The blade attachment (5) is at the bottom of the jug. The control dial (8) is on the motor unit, which sits on feet (9). A handle (4) is on the jug.
The Control Dial allows you to select different blending modes:

0 | Off | Off setting for the blender. Please turn the Control Dial to the Off Setting when not in use. |
1 | Low Speed Setting | Suitable for incorporating dry ingredients into wet ingredients for baking, and mixing ingredients for sauces, dressings, or marinades. |
2 | High Speed Setting | Suitable for smoother blending, and breaking down tough or fibrous ingredients like kale, nuts, or seeds. |
P | Pulse | Pulse mode for precise blending control and crushing ice. |

Note: If you need to add food into the blender while it is in use, remove the Measuring Cup Insert on the top of the lid and add your ingredients. You can use the cup to measure out liquids.
⚠️ CAUTION: Please be very careful when handling the blades as they are very sharp.

Problem | Probable Cause | Solution |

The blender does not turn on. | The appliance is not plugged into the mains. | Put the mains plug in an earthed wall socket. |
The jug and lid is not locked into place. | Turn the jug clockwise until it is firmly locked. Make sure the lock on the handle is secured on the lid. | |
The appliance is overheated. | Leave the appliance to cool down for at least 10 minutes. Make sure not to have the appliance running for more than 3 minutes at a time or for more than 1 Preset Mode at a time. |

Food is not fully blended. | The preset mode did not blend enough. | Wait a few minutes for the motor to cool down then either keep blending or select the Preset Mode again. |
The amount of the ingredients is too little. | Increase the amount of ingredients or liquid so the blade can be submerged enough to blend. | |
The ingredients are too hard. | Make sure the ingredients are suitable for the attachment. When using hard vegetables, cook through to soften or chop into smaller chunks for a smoother consistency. | |
Not blended for long enough. | Keep blending until the desired consistency is reached. Be careful to not overheat the appliance. |

Blades are not rotating. | There is an obstruction. | Turn the blender off and unplug. Carefully check for any obstructions or food in the jug and remove them before restarting the blender. |
There is a burning smell on first use. | The first use of an appliance or the first use after a long time can produce a burning smell. This is normal. | In most cases, these smells are normal and should dissipate after a few uses. If the smell persists or seems unusual contact Duronic's customer support. |
There is a burning smell after prolonged use. | The motor is overheated. | Leave the appliance to cool down for at least 10 minutes. Make sure not to have the appliance running for more than 3 minutes at a time or for more than 1 Preset Mode at a time. If the smell persists or seems unusual contact Duronic's customer support. |
The plastic containers are discoloured. | Staining. | Some foods can naturally stain or dye surfaces when in contact. This is not hazardous. |

This blender has two safety locks that prevent the blender from starting if not assembled correctly. They will click into position.
Please check that the locks are in place as shown:
Diagram Description: Image 1 shows the lid with a lock indicator. The lock indicator should align with the handle of the jug. The spout of the jug should align with the spout shape on the lid. Image 2 shows the blender jug aligned with the motor unit. The handle of the jug must be aligned to the right-hand side as shown, and it should click into place.
If the base of your jug leaks, there may be an issue with the rubber seal of the removable blade or how tight the blade is attached to the jug.
Before assembling, make sure that the seal is in place and intact without visible damage or warping.
Screw the blade attachment in tightly anti-clockwise to prevent leaks.
