For two years from the date of purchase, the consumer may at any time benefit from the legal warranty covering conformity defects existing at the time of delivery, provided that the conformity defect is reported to the seller within two months of the date of discovery of the defect itself. Based on agreements with its sellers, Midea provides technical assistance services for products covered by the legal warranty through its network of authorized service centers (hereinafter "CAT").
Furthermore, Midea Italia s.r.l. with a single shareholder based in Milan, 20121, Largo Guido Donegani 2 (hereinafter "Midea") offers an additional conventional warranty for a period of two years from the date of purchase on all Midea branded products (hereinafter the "Products") marketed by Midea itself in the territory of the Italian Republic (excluding the territory of the city of Venice and minor islands), in the territory of the Republic of San Marino and in the territory of the Vatican City, when installed and put into operation in the same states and territories (hereinafter the "Territory") and when accompanied by this conventional warranty certificate (hereinafter "CGC").
Conditions of Additional Conventional Warranty

These conventional warranty conditions respect the rights recognized to the consumer by Legislative Decree no. 206/2005 and subsequent amendments and integrations (hereinafter, the "Consumer Code") and by articles 1519 bis et seq. of the civil code and, in any case, do not limit or exclude or prejudice the consumer's right to benefit from the legal warranty of conformity for which the seller is responsible.
The conventional warranty offered by Midea (hereinafter the "Conventional Warranty") is effective and applicable only towards and for the sole benefit of the purchasers of the Products having the characteristics and quality of a consumer, as defined and established by the Consumer Code (hereinafter, the "Consumers"). Midea is not responsible for the loss of this certificate and is not required to issue duplicates.
The Conventional Warranty, when effective, consists of the repair or free replacement of the Product components that show manufacturing defects or faults. Midea may arrange for the replacement of the Product with a new one, or if such Product is unavailable, with an equivalent one. The replacement of the Product does not modify or extend the validity of the Conventional Warranty, which always runs from the date of purchase of the original Product.
Warranty services are provided by Midea through a network of Technical Assistance Centers (hereinafter, the "CATs") authorized by it. The validity of the warranty is subject to the verification of the existence of defects or faults in the components constituting the Product, carried out by an authorized CAT.

FRIGICOLL WARRANTY
The warranty offers the user free repair of any anomalies that may be attributable to a manufacturing defect.
Frigicoll accepts warranty repair of equipment both at users' homes and in stores and distributors.
What the Warranty Does Not Cover
Defects or anomalies produced as a consequence of the use of the equipment (normal wear and tear, breakage of supplied elements), as well as breakdowns due to external agents (variations in electrical supply, excessive water pressure, damage caused by adverse environmental conditions), cannot be attributed to a manufacturing defect, and should therefore be repaired at the user's expense.
Warranty Period
Law 23/2003 on Consumer Goods Guarantees and the subsequent Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007, of November 16, 2007, approving the consolidated text of the General Law for the Defense of Consumers and Users, establish a warranty period of 3 years for consumers (those who use the product for private use: who do not incorporate it in any way into a production process).
The law establishes that any anomaly, breakdown or lack of conformity detected during the first 6 months will be attributable to a manufacturing defect, while the user should demonstrate the manufacturing defect for anomalies detected later. Frigicoll assumes the cost of breakdowns or anomalies detected during the 3 years of warranty (taking into account the previous premise), with the exception of those defects defined in the previous point.
Equipment intended for professional use (those that are integrated or form part of a business) have a 1-year warranty on parts (labor and travel not included), unless other conditions are agreed with the client.
The warranty period begins according to the date shown on the invoice or delivery note of the product, regardless of the actual time of use of the same.
Equipment Replacement During the Warranty Period
The current law establishes that the consumer (professional users are not covered by this law) may request the replacement of equipment in case of a breakdown or lack of conformity, but adds that the guarantor (in this case Frigicoll) may reject this request if the cost of replacement is disproportionate to the corresponding repair.

WARRANTY TERMS FOR HOUSEHOLD PRODUCTS Midea (Home Appliances & Small Appliances)
As representatives for the Greek market of Midea household appliances, we provide a warranty for the proper functioning of Midea appliances that have been imported and distributed in the market exclusively by FG Europe SA. The warranty covers any anomaly or breakdown due solely to the manufacturing of the appliance or to defective components.
During the warranty period, labor, technician travel expenses, and spare parts are provided free of charge, as well as the transport of the appliance (excluding small appliances) exclusively by the cooperating agencies, if the technician deems that the repair must be carried out at the company's service center.
Our company reserves the right to determine the method and place of repair of breakdowns at its discretion. Specifically, the service for small appliances is provided at the premises of the contracted service store, and their transport is carried out by the appliance owner.
In case of unjustified call, absence, installation problems, or need for demonstration of operation, the customer will be charged for travel expenses and the technician's visit cost.
The warranty becomes void if the appliance has been tampered with for repair by a technician other than our authorized technician, or if the appliance's rating label and serial number have been altered or removed.
Any repair or replacement of parts of an appliance or of the appliance itself does not extend the warranty period, which continues in any case until its expiration.
In case of replacement of a component of an appliance, a 6-month warranty is provided for that specific component or spare part, starting from the date of replacement.
The warranty is not valid for breakdowns directly or indirectly caused by negligence, omission, misuse, incorrect installation, or any type of intervention on the appliance by an unauthorized service provider. Furthermore, it is not valid for breakdowns due to external factors that alter the appliance's texture (such as chemical, toxic substances, salts, etc.), as well as for breakdowns resulting from incorrect connection to voltages other than those indicated on the appliance's nameplate, to an ungrounded power supply (socket), and to network voltage fluctuations (drops, surges).
The warranty does not cover breakdowns or losses of appliances or their accessories due to transport, even if carried out by third parties at the customer's responsibility.
The warranty does not affect the buyer's rights as provided by European Directive 1999/44/EC and Greek legislation.
The warranty must necessarily be accompanied by a photocopy of the purchase invoice or the retail sales slip or the product's delivery note.
SPECIAL TERMS: MIDEA APPLIANCES
3 YEAR WARRANTY
- The warranty for proper functioning is valid from the date of purchase of the appliance and covers for three (3) years any anomaly or breakdown due to manufacturing or to a defective component of the appliance.
- Specifically for rechargeable batteries (e.g., vacuum cleaners, etc.), the warranty for proper functioning is limited to two (2) years from the date of purchase of the appliance.
- The warranty does not include lighting bulbs, ceramic surfaces, accessories, as well as plastic, enameled, and glass parts of the appliances, unless it is proven to be a manufacturing defect.
- Each appliance is carefully checked during production and is replaced only in case of irreparable damage or repeated same damage or due to high repair costs.
- Damage caused during the transport of the appliance is not covered by the warranty.
- All Midea products are manufactured for normal household use. The warranty does not cover breakdowns resulting from appliances used for professional purposes.

The business (seller) is obliged to record a protocol with the content specified therein when the consumer reports a quality complaint, and to provide a copy of it to the consumer without delay and in an verifiable manner. The business or the repair service (service) is obliged to issue a receipt upon taking over the product for repair, in accordance with the NGM decree.
INFORMATION ON WARRANTY RIGHTS
According to Government Decree 151/2003 (IX. 22.) on mandatory warranty for durable consumer goods, the business (seller) must provide a warranty for new products listed in the annex to the Government Decree. The duration of the warranty:
- For a sales price of HUF 10,000 but not exceeding HUF 100,000, one year.
- For a sales price exceeding HUF 100,000 but not exceeding HUF 250,000, two years.
- For a sales price exceeding HUF 250,000, three years.
Failure to meet these deadlines results in forfeiture of rights. The warranty period is extended by the time during which the consumer could not use the consumer good properly due to the defect, starting from the date of handover for repair.
The warranty period begins with the handover of the consumer good to the consumer, or if the commissioning is carried out by the business or its representative, from the date of commissioning. If the consumer commissions the consumer good more than six months after handover, the warranty period begins on the date of handover of the consumer good.
The defect is not covered by the warranty if its cause occurred after the consumer good was handed over to the consumer, for example, if the defect is due to:
- Improper installation (unless the installation was carried out by the business or its representative, or if improper installation is due to a defect in the user manual),
- Improper use, disregard of the instructions in the user manual,
- Improper storage, improper handling, damage,
- Natural disaster, natural disaster.
According to Section 6:162 of the Civil Code of 2013 (Act V):
- The claimant must notify the defect to the contractor without delay after discovering the defect.
- In the case of a contract between a consumer and a business, a defect reported within two months of discovery shall be considered reported without delay.
- The claimant is responsible for damages resulting from the delay in notification.
In case of a warranty defect, the consumer may:
- Primarily – at their choice – demand repair or replacement, unless the fulfillment of the chosen warranty claim is impossible, or if it would result in disproportionate additional costs for the business compared to fulfilling the other warranty claim, taking into account the value of the service in perfect condition, the severity of the breach of contract, and the interest of the consumer in the fulfillment of the warranty claim.
- If the business does not undertake the repair or replacement, cannot fulfill its obligation within the appropriate period, or if the consumer's interest in repair or replacement has ceased, the consumer may – at their choice – demand a proportional reduction of the purchase price, repair the defect at the business's expense or have it repaired by a third party, or withdraw from the contract. Withdrawal is not possible for insignificant defects.
The consumer may switch from their chosen right to another. The consumer must pay the costs incurred by the switch to the business, unless the business caused the switch, or the switch is otherwise justified.
If the consumer claims replacement within three working days of purchase (commissioning) due to product malfunction, the business cannot invoke disproportionate additional costs but must replace the product, provided that the malfunction prevents its intended use.
If the business cannot confirm the possibility of fulfilling the consumer's warranty or guarantee claim upon notification, it must inform the consumer within five working days, stating the reasons for rejection and the possibility of resorting to a conciliation body.
The business must strive to carry out the repair or replacement within a maximum of fifteen days. If the repair or replacement period exceeds fifteen days, the business must inform the consumer of the expected duration of the repair or replacement. The information shall be provided electronically or by other means that can prove the consumer's receipt, with the consumer's prior consent.
If, during the warranty period, the consumer good is repaired for the first time and the business determines that the consumer good cannot be repaired, the business must replace the consumer good within eight days, unless the consumer provides otherwise.
If the consumer good cannot be replaced, the business must refund the purchase price indicated on the proof of payment of the consumer good (invoice or receipt issued in accordance with the VAT law) within eight days.
If, during the warranty period, the consumer good malfunctions for the third time after being repaired, and the consumer does not request a proportional reduction of the purchase price pursuant to Section 6:159 (2) (b) of the Civil Code of 2013 (Act V), and the consumer does not wish to have the consumer good repaired at the business's expense or by a third party, the business must replace the consumer good within eight days.
If the consumer good cannot be replaced, the business must refund the purchase price indicated on the proof of payment of the consumer good (invoice or receipt issued in accordance with the VAT law) within eight days after the expiration of the thirty-day repair period.
The provisions of the preceding three paragraphs do not apply to means of transport with a sales price exceeding HUF 10,000, including electric bicycles, electric scooters, quads, motorcycles, mopeds, passenger cars, motorhomes, caravans, trailer caravans, trailers, as well as motorized watercraft with a sales price exceeding HUF 10,000.
Only new parts may be installed during repair.
In case of repair of the consumer good, the warranty period is extended by the time during which the consumer could not use the consumer good properly due to the defect, starting from the date of handover for repair. The warranty period restarts for the replaced (repaired) product (part) and for the defect resulting from the repair.
The costs related to the fulfillment of the warranty obligation shall be borne by the business (seller). Products that are fixedly connected, or weigh more than 10 kg, or cannot be transported as hand luggage on public transport – with the exception of vehicles – must be repaired at the place of operation. If the repair cannot be carried out at the place of operation, the business shall be responsible for the dismantling and reassembly, as well as the transport of the product to and from the repair site, or – if the consumer has reported the repair request to the service center – the service center shall be responsible.
The warranty does not affect the consumer's statutory rights – particularly warranty for defects and product warranty, or compensation for damages.
In case of consumer dispute, the consumer may also initiate the procedure of the conciliation body operated by the county (capital city) chambers of commerce and industry.
The rights arising from the warranty can be exercised by the owner of the consumer good, provided that they qualify as a consumer.
The rights arising from the warranty can be exercised with the warranty certificate, for which the return of the opened packaging of the consumer good by the consumer is not a condition.
If the warranty certificate is not provided to the consumer, the contract shall be deemed to have been concluded if the consumer presents the proof of payment of the purchase price – the invoice or receipt issued in accordance with the VAT law.
In this case, the rights arising from the warranty can be exercised with the proof of payment of the purchase price.
The irregular issuance of the warranty certificate or the failure to provide the warranty certificate to the consumer does not affect the validity of the warranty.
The consumer can exercise their warranty claim at the business (seller).
The consumer can exercise their warranty claim at the business's registered office, any of its branches, subsidiaries, and at the repair service indicated on the warranty certificate by the business.
