Note: Some buttons and indicators are only visible when the cooktop is in use.

Accessories and Cookware

For optimal performance, use only ferromagnetic cookware suitable for induction cooktops. Look for the [induction symbol] or test with a magnet. Ensure cookware has a flat base.

Recommended Cookware Materials:

Cookware Not Suitable for Induction:

Cookware Usage by Zone:

Zone Suitable Cookware Shape Suitable Ferromagnetic Base (inch) / (cm)
1 or 2 Round or Square 7 in - 9 in / 16 cm - 21 cm
3 Round 7 in - 10 in / 18 cm - 27 cm
4 Round 4 in - 6 in / 10 cm - 15 cm

Adapters for Pots/Pans: Using adapter plates can affect efficiency. Ensure the ferromagnetic diameter of the cookware aligns with the adapter plate and cooking zone diameter.

Empty Pots and Pans: The cooktop has an auto-off function for high temperatures. Avoid using empty pans with thin bases, as they may overheat quickly.

First Time Use and Operation

Switching the Cooktop ON/OFF:

Press the power button for approximately 1 second to turn the cooktop on. Press it again to turn it off.

Cookware Positioning:

Center cookware on the cooking zones. Avoid placing pots and pans too close to the control panel to prevent overheating. Use rear cooking zones for grilling or frying when possible.

Activating/Deactivating Cooking Zones and Adjusting Power Levels:

Press the zone ON/OFF button to activate a zone. Use the slider to increase or decrease the power level (1-18). The 'P' button selects Power Boost for rapid heating.

Control Panel Lock:

Press and hold the [lock symbol] button for 3 seconds to activate or deactivate the control panel lock. This is useful for cleaning.

Residual Heat Hob:

The 'Hot' indicator lights up when a cooking zone is hot. It will disappear once the zone has cooled down.

Pot Incorrectly Positioned or Missing:

A symbol will appear if cookware is unsuitable, not positioned correctly, or not the right size. The zone will switch off if no pot is detected within 30 seconds.

Setting Menu:

Within the first 60 seconds of powering on, you can access the Setting Menu by pressing and holding the [lock symbol] button for 6 seconds to change basic settings like power limitation.

Cooktop Functions

Power Levels:

The cooktop offers 18 power levels for precise cooking control. The actual power delivered depends on the cookware and zone size.

Power Boost (P):

This function provides higher power for rapid boiling. It can be used for a maximum of 10 minutes per zone. Note that using Power Boost on one zone may affect power availability on others.

FlexHeat™ Plus Element:

Combine two cooking zones into one longer zone for rectangular or oval cookware. Use the slider to control the combined zone's power. Ensure the cookware covers both zones adequately.

Temp Cook™ Function:

Allows you to select and cook at a specific temperature (120°F - 400°F), similar to an oven. The cooktop automatically adjusts heat to maintain the set temperature. This function is indicated by the [Temp Cook symbol].
