Getting Started

Device Overview

The Redmi Pad Pro features the following key components:

Power Button: Located on the top edge.
Volume Buttons: Located on the side edge.
USB Type-C Port: Located on the bottom edge for charging and data transfer.
SD Card Tray: Located on the side edge for expandable storage.

Important Safety Information

Read all safety information below before using your device:

Use only authorized cables, power adapters, and batteries to prevent fire, explosion, or other risks.
Ensure accessories are compatible with your device.
Operating temperature range: 0°C to 40°C. Using the device outside this range may cause damage.
Do not attempt to replace the built-in battery yourself.
Charge the device only with the included or authorized cable and power adapter. Using other adapters may cause fire, electric shock, or damage.
Disconnect the adapter after charging. Do not charge for more than 12 hours.
Recycle or dispose of the battery separately from household waste. Mishandling the battery may cause fire or explosion. Dispose of or recycle the device, its battery, and accessories according to local regulations.
Do not disassemble, hit, crush, or burn the battery. Stop using immediately if the battery appears deformed or damaged.
Do not short-circuit the battery, as this may cause overheating, burns, or injury.
Do not place the battery in high-temperature environments; overheating may cause explosion.
Keep your device dry.
Do not attempt to repair the device yourself. Contact customer support or an authorized repair center if the device malfunctions.
Connect other devices according to their manuals. Do not connect incompatible devices.
For AC/DC adapters, the socket-outlet should be installed near the equipment and be easily accessible.

Safety Precautions

Observe all applicable laws and rules restricting tablet use in specific situations and environments.
Do not use the tablet in petrol stations, explosive atmospheres, or areas with flammable materials or dust. Obey signs to turn off wireless devices in such areas.
Do not use the tablet in hospital operating rooms, emergency rooms, or intensive care units. Always comply with hospital rules. Consult your doctor if you use medical devices. Maintain a minimum distance of 15 cm between the tablet and pacemakers. Avoid interference with hearing aids or cochlear implants.
Observe aircraft safety regulations and turn off the tablet on board aircraft when required.
Use the tablet in a vehicle according to traffic laws.
Do not use the tablet outdoors during thunderstorms to avoid lightning strikes.
Do not use the tablet in high humidity environments (e.g., bathrooms) to prevent electric shock, injury, fire, or charger damage.
Connect the "Redmi Pad Pro" to a computer using a USB data cable.
Use the included USB cable with a Mi brand charger.
Third-party chargers must comply with USB2.0 or higher standards and relevant safety standards (IEC 60950, IEC 62368-1).
The product supports chargers with a maximum output of 33W, 11V, and 3A. Using chargers that do not meet these requirements may damage the product and pose a safety risk.

Security Statement

Update your tablet's operating system using the built-in software update feature or visit an authorized service outlet. Updating through other means may damage the device or result in data loss or security issues.

RF Exposure Information (SAR): This device complies with Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) limits for general population/uncontrolled exposure (10-gram SAR for trunk: limit 2.0W/kg) as specified by Council Recommendation 1999/519/EC, ICNIRP Guidelines, and RED (Directive 2014/53/EU).

Restrictions apply for 5150-5350MHz (indoor use only) in Hong Kong.

Wi-Fi connectivity may vary based on regional availability and local network support. Functions may be added via OTA.

2.4 GHz Band Restrictions: Norway: This subsection does not apply within a 20 km radius of Ny-Ålesund.

Ensure power adapters comply with applicable country regulations and international/regional safety standards.
