Getting Started

To turn on your device, long-press the power button. Follow the on-screen instructions to configure your device.

Device Overview

The Redmi Pad Pro features the following controls and ports:

• Power Button: Located at the top of the device.
• Volume Buttons: Located on the side of the device.
• USB Type-C Port: Located at the bottom of the device for charging and data transfer.
• SD Card Tray: Located on the side of the device for expandable storage.

Important Safety Information

Read all safety information below before using your device:

• Use only authorized cables, power adapters, and batteries compatible with your device to prevent fire, explosion, or other risks.
• The device's operating temperature range is 0°C to 40°C. Using it outside this range may cause damage.
• Do not attempt to replace the built-in battery yourself.
• Charge the device only with the included or authorized cable and power adapter. Using other adapters may cause fire, electric shock, or damage.
• Disconnect the adapter after charging is complete. Do not charge for more than 12 hours.
• Recycle or dispose of the battery separately from household waste. Mishandling the battery may cause fire or explosion.
• Do not disassemble, hit, crush, or burn the battery. Stop using it immediately if deformed or damaged.
• Avoid short-circuiting the battery, which can cause overheating or injury.
• Do not place the battery in high-temperature environments; overheating may cause explosion.
• Keep your device dry.
• Do not attempt to repair the device yourself. Contact Mi customer support or an authorized repair center if any part malfunctions.
• Connect other devices according to their manuals and avoid incompatible devices.
• For AC/DC adapters, ensure the socket-outlet is installed near the equipment and is easily accessible.

Safety Precautions

• Observe all applicable laws and rules restricting tablet use in specific situations and environments.
• Do not use your tablet in explosive environments (e.g., petrol stations, fueling areas, on boats, or areas with flammable chemicals or dust). Obey signs to turn off wireless devices in such areas.
• Do not use your tablet in hospital operating rooms, emergency rooms, or intensive care units. Comply with all hospital rules. If you have a medical device, consult your doctor and the manufacturer regarding potential interference. Maintain a minimum distance of 15 cm between the tablet and a pacemaker. Avoid use near hearing aids or cochlear implants.
• Observe aircraft safety regulations and turn off your tablet on board aircraft when required.
• When driving, use your tablet in accordance with traffic laws.
• Do not use your tablet outdoors during thunderstorms to avoid lightning strikes.
• Do not use your tablet in high humidity areas (like bathrooms) to prevent electric shock, injury, fire, or charger damage.
• Connect the "Redmi Pad Pro" to computer using a USB data cable. Use the included USB cable with a Mi brand charger.
• Third-party chargers must comply with USB2.0 or higher standards, and relevant safety standards (IEC 60950, IEC 62368-1) and local regulations.
• The product supports chargers with a maximum output of 33W, voltage not exceeding 11V, and current not exceeding 3A. Using other chargers may damage the product or cause safety risks.

Security Statement

Update your tablet's operating system using the built-in software update feature or visit authorized service outlets. Updating via other means may damage the device or lead to data loss and security issues.

The charger's power output should be between 10W and 33W for optimal charging speed (USB PD fast charging).

Operation in the 5250-5350 MHz frequency range is restricted to indoor use in specific EU countries (AT, BE, BG, HR, CY, CZ, DK, EE, FI, FR, DE, EL, HU, IE, IT, LV, LT, LU, MT, NL, PL, PT, RO, SK, SI, ES, SE, UK(NI), IS, LI, NO, CH, TR).

Operation in the 5150-5350 MHz frequency range is restricted to indoor use in Hong Kong.

Wi-Fi connectivity features may vary based on regional availability and local network support. Functions may be added via OTA.

Restrictions in the 2.4 GHz band: Norway: This subsection does not apply within a 20 km radius of Ny-Ålesund.

Ensure power adapters comply with applicable country regulations and safety standards.
