Features
Keyboard
Top View: Shows the layout of the keys and the Dell logo.
Bottom View: Features keyboard feet for adjustable height and a battery cover.
- 1. Low battery status LED: Indicates battery level.
- 2. Keyboard feet: Adjustable for ergonomic positioning.
- 3. Battery cover: Provides access to the battery compartment.
Notes:
- The keyboard enters auto power save mode when not in use.
- The low battery status LED blinks amber when battery capacity is low.
Label Location: PPID/Regulatory label is located on the bottom of the keyboard.
Mouse
Top View: Shows the left button, scroll wheel, right button, and low battery status LED.
Bottom View: Features the optical sensor and power switch.
- 1. Left button: Primary mouse click.
- 2. Scroll wheel: For scrolling through documents and web pages.
- 3. Right button: Secondary mouse click.
- 4. Low battery status LED: Indicates battery level.
- 5. Optical sensor: Tracks movement on surfaces.
- 6. Power switch: Turns the mouse on or off.
Notes:
- The mouse enters auto power save mode when not in use.
- The low battery status LED blinks amber when battery capacity is low.
- Turn off the power switch when the mouse is not used to improve battery life.
Setting up your wireless keyboard
- Using your fingertip, pry open the battery cover.
- Install the AAA batteries into the battery compartment, ensuring correct orientation. Then close the battery cover.
Setting up your wireless mouse
- Locate the slot on the side of the mouse cover. Using your fingertip, pry open the cover.
- Install the AA battery into the battery compartment, ensuring correct orientation.
- Close the mouse cover.
- Slide the power switch down to turn on the mouse.
Connecting your wireless keyboard and mouse
- Detach the receiver tag from the USB receiver.
- Install the USB receiver into a USB port on your computer. This applies to both laptops and desktops.
The keyboard and mouse are now paired with your USB device and ready for use.

Troubleshooting
Keyboard/mouse is not functioning
- Check battery orientation: Ensure "+" and "-" ends are correctly placed in the battery compartment.
- Check battery level:
- For rechargeable batteries, ensure they are fully charged.
- For exhausted batteries, replace them with new ones.
- Power cycle: Turn the device off, then on. Check the battery-status light. If it flashes amber 10 times, the battery is low. If batteries are depleted, the light will not turn on.
- Restart your computer.
- Ensure the USB receiver is directly connected to your computer. Avoid using port replicators or USB hubs. Try inserting the USB receiver into another USB port closer to the keyboard/mouse.
Unable to connect the keyboard/mouse with your computer
- Check battery level:
- For rechargeable batteries, ensure they are fully charged.
- For exhausted batteries, replace them with new ones.
- Power cycle: Turn the device off, then on. Check the battery-status light. If it flashes amber 10 times, the battery is low. If batteries are depleted, the light will not turn on.
- Restart your computer.
- Ensure the USB receiver is directly connected to your computer. Avoid using port replicators or USB hubs.
- Change the USB port or insert the USB receiver into another USB port on your computer.
- Ensure the distance between your computer and keyboard/mouse is within 10 meters.
Mouse pointer does not move / Mouse left/right button does not work / Keyboard buttons do not work / Wireless connection is lost
- Check battery level:
- For rechargeable batteries, ensure they are fully charged.
- For exhausted batteries, replace them with new ones.
- Power cycle: Turn the device off, then on. Check the battery-status light. If it flashes amber 10 times, the battery is low. If batteries are depleted, the light will not turn on.
- Restart your computer.
- Ensure the distance between your computer and keyboard/mouse is within 10 meters.
Troubleshooting a slow moving cursor
- Ensure the sensor is not obstructed or dirty.
- Glass or very smooth glossy surfaces are not suitable for the mouse sensor. Using a dark colored fabric mouse pad can improve tracking.
- Change mouse settings to adjust pointer speed:
- Click or tap the tab matching your Operating System (OS).
- In the Search box, type
main.cpl
. The Mouse Properties dialog box appears. - Click or tap
main.cpl
in the list of programs. - Click or tap the "Pointer Options" tab.
- In the "Motion" section, move the slider to adjust the pointer speed.
- Click or tap OK.
