Product Overview
This document provides instructions for the CHESONA Wireless Keyboard for iPad Pro 12.9-inch (5th/4th/3rd Generation). It covers operation, connection, charging, specifications, and troubleshooting.

Operation Instruction
Powering On/Off: Slide the key to "ON" to turn on the keyboard power.
Bluetooth Pairing:
- Open Bluetooth settings on your iPad.
- Press the 'FN' and 'C' keys together on the keyboard. The BT indicator light will flash.
- Search for "Bluetooth 3.0 Keyboard" on your iPad and select it to connect.
- Once connected, the BT indicator light will stop flashing.
Note: The keyboard will automatically enter power-saving mode after 10 minutes of inactivity. Press any key and wait 2-3 seconds to wake it up.
Backlight Control
Use the 'Switch Backlight' function to control the backlight. Cycle through colors and brightness levels.
Available Colors: Blue, Green, Red, Cyan, Purple, Yellow, White.

Second Connection
- To reconnect after the keyboard has entered power-saving mode, simply press any key and wait 2-3 seconds. Do not press 'Fn+C' again, as this may cause a failed connection.
- If you are unable to connect for the second time:
- On your iPad, go to Bluetooth settings, select "BT 3.0 Keyboard", and choose "Forget this device".
- Turn off your iPad and the keyboard, then restart both devices.
- Follow the initial pairing steps to connect again.

Indicator Lights
- Capital Indicator Light: Illuminates when Caps Lock is active.
- Wireless Connect Indicator: Flashes slowly when entering BT pairing mode. Turns off upon successful pairing.
- Charging Indicator Light: Solid red light indicates low battery. Solid light during charging. Turns off when charging is complete.
- Electric Indicator Light: Illuminates for 2-3 seconds upon powering on the keyboard.
Charging
Fully charge the keyboard before first use or after extended periods of inactivity (at least 2 hours).
To charge:
- Use the provided micro-USB cable or your own.
- Connect the small end of the micro-USB cable to the keyboard and the other end to a USB port.
Important: If the power indicator flashes continuously, it signifies a battery level below 20%. Charge the keyboard promptly to prevent issues.
Installation and Removal
To remove the keyboard case from the iPad:
- Hold the iPad firmly on both sides.
- Gently push off the back cover with your thumbs. The cover is secured by two tabs.
- Carefully "peel" the cover away from the iPad.
- Lift the iPad out of the case.

Troubleshooting
If the keyboard is not functioning correctly, please verify the following:
- Ensure the BT function is enabled on your iPad (or other connected BT device).
- Confirm the BT keyboard is within the 33 feet (approx. 10 meters) connection range.
- Check that the BT keyboard is adequately charged.
If specific keys or commands are unresponsive, work sporadically, or exhibit lag:
- Restart your iPad (power off and then power on). This resolves most common issues.
If the problem persists, follow these steps:
- On your iPad, delete all previously paired Bluetooth devices.
- Turn off the Bluetooth function on your iPad.
- Reboot your iPad.
- Turn on the Bluetooth function on your iPad.
- Switch the keyboard off and then on again.
- Repeat the connection steps outlined on pages 1 and 2 of this manual.
