System Operation
1. Lithium battery
Switch on battery: Press and hold the knob for 3 seconds to power on the trolling motor battery.
Switch off battery: Press and hold the knob until the shutdown page appears, then press and hold for 3 seconds as the progress bar indicates to switch off the battery.
2. Bi-directional DC/DC charger
Boost Charging Mode: When the outboard engine is running, the charger operates in boost charging mode, supplying 12V power from the starter battery to charge the trolling motor battery (24V or 36V).
Buck Charging: When the outboard engine is off, the charger switches to buck charging mode. It draws power from the trolling motor battery (24V or 36V) to charge the 12V starter battery and power other 12V DC loads.
3. MPPT solar charger
The MPPT charger begins charging when the PV input voltage meets the required condition (greater than 15VDC).
4. AC/DC charger
The charger automatically activates and begins charging when the AC input voltage is within the specified range. It shuts down automatically when the AC input source is disconnected.

Maintenance
If the system will not be used for an extended period, disconnect the cable between the starter battery and the DC/DC charger, and switch off the trolling motor battery to prevent unnecessary battery power consumption during charger sleep mode.
Check connectors and cables for looseness or damage every 1-3 months.
Regularly inspect and clean the surfaces of the charger and lithium battery to maintain stable and reliable performance.
For extended storage:
- Up to 3 months: Set the State of Charge (SOC) to 20-30%.
- Over 3 months: Perform a full battery maintenance cycle every 3 months. This involves discharging to 0% SOC, charging to 100% SOC, and then discharging to 20-30% SOC. Repeat this process when the battery reaches 0% SOC in the subsequent 3-month period.
