1. Introduction
The Abyss Battery X3 is a 2.8-inch monitoring display screen crafted by HALI, ideally suited for monitoring lithium battery systems on small fishing boats. Its compact design, coupled with a robust waterproof build, ensures high cost-effectiveness and reliability. Whether for fresh or saltwater environments, the X3 meets the outdoor installation and usage needs of users, providing a seamless monitoring experience.
Diagram: A visual representation of the X3 display shows a battery status indicator at 68%, voltage at 43.1V, time to full at 04H32Min, and charging current at 30.0A.
2. Installation and Wiring
Connect the M12 interface on the back of the product to the 'COM' port of the lithium battery via a communication cable for power supply and communication functions.
Embedded Installation Diagram (Use M3 screws): A diagram illustrates the mounting of the X3 unit using M3 screws, showing cut slots and screw holes.
Installation Instructions:
- Cut slots and drill screws to fix the slots as per slot size.
- Remove the decorative buckle strips on the upper and lower sides of the product.
- Connect the communication cable on the back of the product and tighten the nut on the plug.
- Lock the product into the slots with M3 screws.
- Re-press and fasten the decorative strips on both sides.
Installation Steps:
Slot Dimensions: The diagram shows dimensions for the slot: 96.9mm length, 72.6mm width, with two screw holes spaced 90mm apart horizontally.

4. Operation
4.1 Switch on battery
Press and hold the knob for 3s to turn on the lithium battery.
4.2 Knob operation
- Select: Rotate the knob to choose between options.
- Confirm: Short press the knob once to confirm your option.
- Return: Switch to ↩️ sign and press the knob once to return to previous page, or quick press the knob twice to return to home page.
4.3 Switch off battery
Press and hold the knob until the shutdown page pops up, and hold for 3s as the progress bar shown, to switch off the lithium battery.

6. Precautions
- Do not scratch or hit the screen with sharp objects.
- Use the provided silicone cover to protect the screen when it is not in use for a long time.
