- DO NOT defeat or remove the drawer interlock system; it is an important stability and safety system.
- Place heaviest items in the lowest drawers.
Tools Required for Assembly:
- Screwdriver (Phillips head)
- Hammer
- Drill with drill bits: 5/16" (8 mm) and 1/8" (3 mm)
Wall Mounting Considerations:
The supplied screws and plugs can be used with most solid (A) and hollow (B) walls. For solid wood (C), use screws without plugs. If uncertain, seek professional advice.

Assembly Steps
Step 1: Prepare Base and Sides
Attach two base runners (Part 10051022) to the main base panel (Part 10051022) using 14x dowels (Part 101345) and 10x screws (Part 151706).

Attach 6x drawer slide components (Part 10093081 - IKEA CL) to the prepared base assembly using 9x screws (Part 146114).

Attach 6x drawer slide components (Part 10085235 - IKEA CR) to the prepared base assembly using 9x screws (Part 146114).

Step 4: Assemble Frame Sides
Connect two side panels to the base assembly using 2x dowels (Part 153548) and 2x screws (Part 10040039). A "Click!" sound is indicated.

Step 5: Assemble Frame Sides (Continued)
Connect two more side panels to the base assembly using 4x dowels (Part 158568) and 4x screws (Part 10051022). A "Click!" sound is indicated.

Step 6: Attach Back Support
Attach a back support panel using 4x dowels (Part 153548) and 4x screws (Part 10040039). A "Click!" sound is indicated.

Step 7: Attach Back Support (Continued)
Attach another back support panel using 4x dowels (Part 158568) and 4x screws (Part 10051022). A "Click!" sound is indicated.

Step 8: Insert Back Panel
Slide the back panel into the grooves of the assembled frame.

Attach 6x drawer runner components (Part 10093081 and 10093082) to the inside of the dresser frame using screws.

Step 14: Attach Drawer Fronts
Attach drawer fronts using 4x dowels (Part 153548) and 2x screws (Part 10040039) for the handles, and 2x screws (Part 158568) for the drawer front attachment.

Step 15: Attach Top Panel
Place the top panel onto the assembled frame and secure it using 4x screws (Part 101345).

Step 16: Attach Drawer Fronts (Handles)
Attach drawer handles using 2x screws (Part 151706) and 2x screws (Part 151708) for the left side, and 2x screws (Part 151705) and 2x screws (Part 151707) for the right side.

Step 17: Install Drawer Slides
Insert the drawer slide mechanisms into the dresser frame. This involves aligning and clicking them into place.

Mark the wall for mounting points.

Step 20: Attach Anti-Tip Device
Attach the anti-tip bracket to the dresser using 2x screws (Part 109048).

Step 21: Attach Anti-Tip Device to Wall
Attach the corresponding anti-tip bracket to the wall using screws and plugs (refer to Step 19). Then connect the dresser to the wall bracket to secure it.

Secure the anti-tip device by tightening screws.

Step 23: Assemble Drawer Boxes
Assemble drawer boxes using 2x dowels (Part 118331) and 2x screws (Part 118331) for the first drawer, and 4x dowels (Part 118331) and 4x screws (Part 118331) for the second drawer.

Step 24: Assemble Drawer Sides
Assemble drawer sides using 2x dowels (Part 101345) and 2x screws (Part 101345) for one set of drawer sides, and 8x dowels (Part 101345) and 8x screws (Part 101345) for another set.

Attach the assembled drawer sides to the drawer base panels.

Slide the drawer bottom panels into the grooves of the assembled drawer sides and back.

Step 30: Attach Drawer Runners to Drawers
Attach the drawer runner components to the sides of the assembled drawers using 4x screws (Part 151495575138).

Attach more drawer runner components to the sides of the assembled drawers using 4x screws (Part 119030), 4x screws (Part 118224), and 4x screws (Part 120076).

Step 32: Insert Drawers
Insert the assembled drawers into the dresser frame by aligning the runners. This involves attaching drawer runners (Part 10102070) to the dresser frame (IKEA DL) and drawer sides (IKEA DR) using 2x screws (Part 109048) and 6x screws (Part 146114).

Step 33: Attach Drawer Knobs
Attach drawer knobs to the drawer fronts using 2x screws (Part 119976) and 2x screws (Part 10052019).

Step 34: Final Check and Drawer Insertion
Ensure all parts are securely fastened. Insert the drawers into the dresser. A warning symbol indicates not to place items on top of open drawers.

Step 35: Completed Dresser
The HAUGA 6-drawer dresser is now assembled and ready for use.

Wall Mounting Instructions
Step 1: Position the dresser against the wall. Mark the wall through the mounting holes on the dresser's back panel.

Step 2: Secure the anti-tip bracket to the wall using appropriate screws and wall anchors based on your wall type (refer to safety section). Ensure the bracket is firmly attached.
