The H30Crystal is an advanced field strength meter that expands the H30 series with the added functionality of optical measurements. It is designed for professional installers working with multiple telecommunication network technologies, offering a versatile and comprehensive tool for analyzing fiber optic networks alongside existing functions.
This device is an expandable, multi-standard meter capable of measuring DVB-S/S2, DVB-T/T2, DVB-C, analog channels, and return channels. Software licenses can be downloaded to update the meter with new options, making it a multifunctional device ideal for installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting in coaxial and fiber optic networks.
The H30Crystal features a multiscreen system for flexible operation, allowing users to manage the device remotely and view its contents on their own mobile devices (Android, iOS, or PC). A universal armband for mobile devices up to 6 inches is included for convenient smartphone use.

Optical Measurements
The H30Crystal is equipped with an optical receiver (selective or non-selective) for measuring power and loss at wavelengths of 1310nm, 1490nm, and 1550nm. The selective option combined with the OPS3L triple light generator allows for professional alignment of information and telecommunication networks. The optical connector is SC/APC type, and an accessory kit is included for flexibility with other connector types.
Services and IPTV Analyzer (*)
This feature enables demodulation and analysis of IPTV streams (Unicast and Multicast), displaying not only video but also total bitrate and bitrate per service. It includes detailed information for each service such as SID, VPID, AID, Video Profile, and Audio/Video Bitrate. This option complements RF measurements by analyzing this information per service for RF signals as well. For IPTV signals, specific protocol measurements like UDP format, Media Loss Rate, and Lost IP Frames are performed.

Wi-Fi Analyzer (*)
This functionality provides a comprehensive analysis of the Wi-Fi band for automatic detection of all networks. Each network is identified by name, and the signal strength at the access point is displayed. Two display modes are available: 'List' mode shows detected networks with data and performance, while 'Map' mode displays them on a two-axis map of performance versus frequency.

Return Channel Measurement (5 MHz)
Measuring the return channel from 5 MHz is highly beneficial for cable installation technicians. By displaying the signal in the spectrum and measuring power and C/N, it ensures good status and quality for upload data transmitted on this bandwidth.
Traffic Light Display
Easily identify installation errors with the traffic light display, a graphical representation that simplifies and optimizes the interpretation of measurement results. Various quality profiles are available (LNB, distribution point, headend, subscriber outlet, etc.), and custom values can be entered.
Channel Information
A quick glance at a channel provides automatic detection of the channel type and displays relevant data such as level, C/N, and digital signal quality measurements. All measurements are performed with a single button press, activating indicators and the traffic light display (good/bad) based on user-defined values.
System Scan
Monitor installations by scanning all existing analog and digital channels in real-time across the entire frequency range. This function uses thresholds (based on measurement point and network plan) to indicate whether the signal level meets the plan or specification, using green, yellow, and red bar indicators for a clear, real-time overview of signal distribution, along with BER and MER values.
Spectrum Analyzer (5 MHz to Full Span)
The H30Crystal Spectrum Analyzer offers a range from 5, 10, 20, 50, 100, 200, 500 MHz, and Full Span, with automatic reference level adjustment. Real-time signal processing ensures fast spectrum capture. Its precision and detail make it an ultimate tool for identifying and locating noise, interference, and other signals that may affect TV signal distribution network quality.
Guided Satellite Alignment
This feature speeds up antenna alignment. The meter presets a typical satellite and transponder for the region and pre-configures the LNB connection. An acoustic indicator can be activated to assist the user in aligning the satellite antenna. The reference satellite can be manually changed to start a new antenna alignment.
WideBand LNB Technology Support
This functionality for DVB-S/S2 allows for complete analysis of satellite channels at any frequency between 250 MHz and 2300 MHz. The meter can be directly connected to the output of a WideBand LNB (2 outputs: Vertical and Horizontal).
MPEG Video and Detail Information
The MPEG function of the H30Crystal displays the content of a digital channel. In addition to video, other important parameters can be retrieved, such as Service Name, PID, Resolution, available Audio Tracks, and NIT information.
4K/UHD Display on Meter and Mobile Device
This functionality supports the HEVC H.265 compression format and allows for the display of video signals with a maximum 4K/UHD resolution (3840 x 2160). Information can be viewed on the meter's screen or on a mobile device (multiscreen mode), provided the hardware is H.265 compatible (e.g., modern smartphone, tablet, or PC).
Constellation Diagram
The constellation diagram is essential for determining digital signal quality. It helps identify issues like hum, phase jitter, interference, and signal saturation, which can affect signal quality. By visually inspecting the size and shape of points in the constellation matrix, technicians can easily determine the cause of problems.
Measurement by Plan
The ultra-fast 'Measurement Plan' function allows for immediate checking of channels present in the distribution network. A custom channel plan can then be created, including only desired channels. Each channel is displayed in a color-coded bar graph corresponding to its selected quality profile.
Echo
For terrestrial signal reception, it is crucial to identify and minimize echoes that can cause reception problems. The H30Crystal visualizes echoes of the received signal, allowing installers to minimize them for optimal signal reception.
Datalogs
For documentation and further troubleshooting, signal parameter data can be saved and exported for later analysis or use in work reports. This feature is also useful for training purposes.
Always Up-to-Date
The meter automatically detects new software versions when connected to the internet (WLAN, Ethernet). An icon in the upper right corner alerts the user to new software availability without interrupting work. Device updates are managed through the configuration menu. If no internet connection is available, the meter can be updated via PC with the downloaded software version.
