Technical Service Ordering Information
This catalog contains ordering information for General Motors Technical Service Publications for model years 1996-2006.
Service Publications
Listed publications may be purchased by completing the order form at the back of the catalog and mailing it with a check or money order payable to HELM, INCORPORATED. Orders may be placed toll-free for credit card holders only. Call 1-800-782-4356. Orders will be filled based on material availability. If an order cannot be filled, monies covering "out-of-stock" publications will be returned or refunded.
Manual Descriptions
Service Manual: Covers full maintenance and repair to engine and chassis components, including electrical information and specifications. Unless otherwise specified, both gasoline and diesel engines are covered.
Supplement: Covers changes or differences between models or years, updating another manual.
Body Manual: Covers body only (sheet metal, windows, seats, etc.), including removal, installation, and maintenance procedures, as well as electrical information and wiring diagrams applicable to the body. Covers U.S. and Canadian-built Fisher Body styles.
Fuel and Emissions Manual: Contains diagnosis, on-vehicle servicing and repair, and overhaul information for fuel-injected gasoline engine fuel and emission components, including driveability diagnosis.
Unit Repair Manual: Contains overhaul procedures for major components once they have been removed from the vehicle.
Owner Manual – All Cars and Trucks: The driver's manual (glove box booklet) containing information on proper operation and care of the vehicle. Not a technician's manual.
Service Bulletins: Provide technical service information for servicing General Motors cars and trucks.
