Description

The HBG-60-P series is a 60W AC/DC PCB type LED driver featuring a circular shape design. It operates from 90~295VAC and offers constant current output models with rated currents between 1050mA and 2100mA. With high efficiency up to 90% and a fanless design, the series is capable of operating in ambient temperatures from -40°C to +70°C under free air convection.

Technical Diagrams and Characteristics

Block Diagram

The block diagram illustrates the internal architecture of the HBG-60-P series LED driver. Input power (AC/L, AC/N) first passes through an EMI Filter & Rectifiers. This is followed by a control stage featuring O.L.P. (Over Load Protection) and PWM & PFC Control. The regulated power then goes through Power Switching and a final Rectifiers & Filter stage to provide the DC output (V+, V-).

Driving Methods of LED Module

This section explains that the HBG-60-P series operates in constant current mode to directly drive LEDs.   3. De-rating may be needed under low input voltages. Please refer to "STATIC CHARACTERISTIC" sections for details.
  4. Length of set up time is measured at cold first start. Turning ON/OFF the driver may lead to an increase in the set up time.
  5. The driver is considered a component that will be operated in combination with final equipment. Since EMC performance will be affected by the complete installation, the final equipment manufacturers must re-qualify EMC Directive on the complete installation again.   6. To fulfill requirements of the latest ErP regulation for lighting fixtures, this LED driver can only be used behind a switch without being permanently connected to the mains.
