Important Safety Instructions
Check the mains voltage before using the device. The Harman Kardon Enchant Sub is designed for use with 100-240 volt, 50/60 Hz AC (Alternating Current). Connecting to a different mains voltage than the product is intended for can be dangerous, cause fire, and damage the device. If you have questions about the voltage requirements for your specific model or the voltage in your country, contact the dealer where you purchased the product before connecting the device to the mains power.
Do not use extension cords. Use only the power cord supplied with your device to avoid safety risks. Harman Kardon advises against using extension cords with this product. Never place power cords under carpets or floor coverings, and do not place heavy objects such as furniture on the cord. Damaged power cords should be replaced immediately by an authorized service center with a power cord of the same specification.
Handle the power cord with care. Always hold the plug when removing the cord from the socket. Never pull on the cord. If you plan not to use your soundbar for an extended period, unplug it from the power outlet.
Do not open the casing. There are no user-serviceable components inside this product. Opening the casing may pose a shock hazard, and any modifications to the product will void the warranty. If water accidentally enters the device, unplug it immediately and contact an authorized service center.

Harman Kardon One App
With the Harman Kardon One app on your Android™ or iOS device, you can set up a multi-channel sound system by wirelessly connecting your Enchant Sub to:
- Enchant 900 / 1100 (soundbar, sold separately): to enhance bass performance.

Notes:
- A subscription may be required and is not provided by the Harman Kardon One app.
- App screens may vary due to software updates. Always follow the app's instructions.
The app is available on the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store. Search for "Harman Kardon One".

Carefully unpack the box and check if all parts are included. If any part is damaged or missing, do not use the device and contact your retailer or customer service.

3 Product Overview
Rear Panel
- POWER: Connect to the power outlet (using the supplied power cord).
- SERVICE: USB connector for software update (for maintenance only).
- LED Indicator:
- Regularly pulsing (white): System starting up
- Slowly pulsing (white): Ready for setup / Connection lost with Enchant soundbar
- Solid (white): Connected to the Enchant soundbar
- Solid (green): Subwoofer found by the Harman Kardon One app
- Rapidly pulsing (white): Software update in progress
- Solid (orange): Restoring factory settings
- SETUP:
- Press twice to enter setup mode.
- Press and hold for at least 10 seconds to restore factory settings.
4 Getting Started
4.1 Placement
Place the subwoofer on a flat and stable surface near a power outlet.
For a good connection, maintain a distance of 1 to 5 meters (3.3 to 16.4 feet) between the subwoofer and your Enchant soundbar.
4.2 Powering On
Insert one end of the power cord into the POWER connection on the rear panel and the other end into a power outlet.
→ The subwoofer will automatically power on.
Notes:
- Use only the supplied power cord.
- When disconnecting the power cord, always pull the plug, never the cord.
5 Setting Up
The subwoofer only works with the Enchant soundbar. Follow the steps below to wirelessly connect to the soundbar.
- Connect the subwoofer and your Enchant soundbar to power on.
- → ⚪ (Slowly pulsing white): ready for setup.
- Connect your Android or iOS device to your home network. Download and launch the Harman Kardon One app.
- Follow the app's instructions to complete the setup.
- a) Connect the Enchant soundbar to your home network.
- b) Connect the subwoofer to the same network as your Enchant soundbar.
NOTE:
- If your subwoofer is not detected by the Harman Kardon One app, press SETUP twice to re-enter setup mode.
c) Group the subwoofer with your Enchant soundbar as a multi-channel sound system.
→ ⚪ (Solid white): The subwoofer is connected to the Enchant soundbar.
6 Restoring Factory Settings
On the subwoofer, press and hold the SETUP button for at least 10 seconds to restore factory settings.
→ ? (Solid orange): Restoring factory settings.
→ When factory settings are restored, the subwoofer will automatically restart.

8 Troubleshooting
Never attempt to repair the product yourself. If you encounter problems using this product, check the following points before requesting service.
System
Pressing a button has no effect
- Check if the power cord is connected to the power supply.
- Reset the subwoofer to factory settings (See "5 RESTORING FACTORY SETTINGS").
Sound
No sound from subwoofer
- Ensure the subwoofer is connected to a power outlet.
- Ensure the subwoofer is wirelessly connected to the Enchant soundbar (See "5 SETTING UP").
Wi-Fi
Failed to connect to Wi-Fi.
- Check that you have selected the correct network and entered the correct password.
- Check that your router or modem is powered on and within range.
- Ensure your subwoofer is connected to the same wireless network as your smartphone or tablet.
- If you encounter problems setting up Wi-Fi, press SETUP twice to re-enter setup mode (See "5 SETTING UP").
