Getting Started
Follow these steps to set up and connect your AirPods Pro:
- Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your Apple device.
- Open the AirPods Pro case near your iPhone.
- Hold the AirPods Pro case approximately 2 inches (5 cm) from your iPhone.
- Press and hold the button on the back of the AirPods Pro case to enter pairing mode.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the connection.
Key Features
Customizable Fit
AirPods Pro come with ear tips in multiple sizes (XS, S, M, L) for a secure and comfortable fit. Select the size that provides a good seal and optimal sound quality.
Charging
Charge your AirPods Pro using the included Lightning cable or wirelessly on a Qi-certified charging mat.
Listening Modes
Switch between listening modes by pressing and holding the force sensor on the stem of an AirPod:
- Noise Cancellation: Blocks external sound for immersive listening.
- Transparency Mode: Allows you to hear your surroundings.
- Spatial Audio: Creates an immersive, theater-like sound experience.
- Conversation Awareness: Automatically lowers media volume and enhances voices when you start speaking.
Controls
Control playback, calls, and listening modes using the force sensor on the stem of your AirPods Pro.
- Single Press: Play/pause audio, answer/end call.
- Double Press: Skip to the next track.
- Triple Press: Go to the previous track.
- Press and Hold: Switch between Noise Cancellation and Transparency modes.
Safety and Handling
Battery Safety
WARNING: Ingestion Hazard: This product contains a button cell battery. If swallowed, it can cause severe internal chemical burns in as little as 2 hours, potentially leading to death or serious injury. Keep new and used batteries out of reach of children. Seek immediate medical attention if a battery is suspected to be swallowed or inserted into any part of the body.
Choking Hazard
AirPods, the charging case, and small parts included may present a choking hazard or cause injury to small children. Keep them away from small children.
Skin Irritation
AirPods can lead to skin irritation if not properly cleaned. Clean regularly with a soft, lint-free cloth. If skin irritation develops, discontinue use and consult a physician.
Hearing Damage
WARNING: To prevent possible hearing damage, do not listen at high volume levels for long periods. More information is available online at apple.com/sound.
Medical Device Interference
AirPods and the case contain magnets and components that may interfere with medical devices. See the user guide for detailed information.
Charging Case Lanyard Warning
WARNING: If using the charging case with a lanyard or strap, use caution to ensure it does not get caught in other objects.
