Connect your modem router
- Turn off and disconnect existing modems/routers. Replace old modem with the new modem router.

- Connect the power adapter to the modem router and plug it into an electrical outlet.
- Wait for the Online LED to light solid green (this may take up to 10 minutes and involve multiple resets). Note: The modem router is not yet connected to the Internet; activation with your ISP is required. If the Online LED is not solid green after 10 minutes, verify the cable outlet or contact your ISP.
Set up and activate your modem router with Xfinity

Set up your modem router with another cable Internet service provider
- Connect your computer or mobile device to the modem router via WiFi or Ethernet. For WiFi, use the SSID and password on the modem router label. For Ethernet, use an Ethernet cable to connect a computer to an Ethernet port.
- Launch a web browser and navigate to routerlogin.net or 192.168.0.1.
