Introduction
This document provides a user manual for the HDMI eARC/ARC Audio Extractor, model AA6316.

Connection and Operation
Connect the devices as shown in the diagram. The general connection flow is: Source device → Display device → Audio Output Device → Power.
Diagram illustrating connections:
Source Device (e.g., DVD/PS4/BD) connects via HDMI cable to the HDMI IN port of the extractor.
Extractor outputs audio via RCA audio cable to Sound System (Amplifier and Speakers) or via audio fiber cable to Power Amplifier.
Display Device (HDTV) connects via HDMI cable to the HDMI OUT 1 port of the extractor. The HDTV should support HDR 4K@60Hz and eARC/ARC.
Power Adapter connects to the DC 5V input port of the extractor and to a power outlet.
Audio Mode Description
| Audio Mode | Function Introduction |

| 2CH | Audio EDID Stereo Audio Mode. All output ports will output stereo audio. |
| 5.1CH | Audio EDID 5.1 Audio Mode. The HDMI Output port and Optical Output port will output 5.1 Audio. The L/R Port will have no audio output. |
| ADV | Audio EDID ADV Mode. If the connected output device (e.g., HDMI 7.1 AV Receiver) supports 7.1 audio and the HDMI input signal source is 7.1 audio format, it will output 7.1 audio. The L/R and optical ports will have no audio. |
eARC/ARC Function Description
eARC/ARC Button
The eARC/ARC On/Off button controls the eARC/ARC function. Pressing the button turns the function on, indicated by the matched LED light turning bright. Pressing it again turns the function off, and the LED light goes dark.
When using eARC or ARC, the HDMI Output 1 port must be connected to the HDMI Input port (with eARC or ARC mark) of the Display device.
When eARC/ARC is active, the matched LED light will be bright. Returned audio from eARC/ARC will be output from HDMI Output 2 port, Optical Port, and L/R Port.
The L/R Port will have audio only if the eARC/ARC returned audio format is LPCM2.0.
The Optical port will have audio only if the eARC/ARC returned audio format is LPCM2.0, Dolby AC-3, or DTS5.1.
e-ARC supports a maximum of 7.1 audio return. If the eARC returned audio format is 7.1 Audio, the L/R and Optical ports will have no audio, and the HDMI Output 2 port will output 7.1 audio.
Troubleshooting: If there is no audio after turning on eARC/ARC, check if the CEC function on your display is enabled and if eARC or ARC is active. Ensure the HDMI Cable is certified for eARC/ARC support. If all display and HDMI cable setups are correct, restart the Audio Extractor.
