Quick Start Steps
- Activate: Power on the device.
- Select Search Mode: Choose the appropriate mode for your detecting environment.
- Noise Cancel: Reduce interference for clearer signals.
- Start Detecting: Begin your search!
Search Modes
The X-TERRA PRO offers specialized modes for different environments:
- Park: A good mode for recreational areas with high trash, suitable for general detecting.
- General & Coins
- Jewellery
- Field: Ideal for detecting in historical fields with the widest range for target sizes.
- Coins & Artefacts
- Coins & Artefacts (Fine)
- Beach: For all saltwater conditions - dry sand, wet sand, surf, and underwater.
- Wet & Dry Sand
- Underwater & Surf
Assembly
Follow these steps to assemble your X-TERRA PRO:
- Attach the lower shaft to the search coil.
- Connect the middle shaft to the lower shaft.
- Extend the middle shaft to the desired length.
- Attach the control box to the upper shaft.
- Connect the coil cable to the control box.
- Adjust the upper shaft for comfortable handling.
- Secure the control box to the shaft.
- Perform a final assembly check to ensure all parts are firmly connected.
Charging
Charge your detector using a quality USB charger (minimum 2A @ 5V) via the USB-A port ?. Charging typically takes 5-6 hours. Using low-quality chargers may lead to failure. Look for safety certifications like CE, EAC, and Intertek on your charger.
Charging Status LED: Indicates battery level and charging status.

Familiarize yourself with the detector's controls and display:

- Ground Balance: ⛰️ (Optimizes performance for soil conditions)

- Threshold Level: (Sets the background audio hum)
- Target Tone: ? (Customize audio tones for different targets)
- Accept/Reject: ✔️ / ❌ (Discriminate unwanted targets)
- Recovery Speed: (Determines how quickly the detector responds to subsequent targets)
Advanced Settings:
Access advanced settings by long-pressing the 'Settings' button:
- Volume Tone: (Adjusts tone volume)
- Notch Filter: (Excludes specific target ranges)
- Accept/Reject: ✔️ / ❌
- Frequency: ⚡ (Select operating frequency)
