ECU Bench/Boot Modes Connecting Methods (P003+ Kit)
1. Equipment Overview
The P003+ Kit includes the following components:
- 1. Diag cable OBD connector (male)
- 2. P003+ adapter
- 3. BENCH -A V3
- 4. Sub-jumper
- 5. Boot jumper (spring needle)
- 6. Boot jumper (welding)
- 7. 12V power
Description of connection setup: The diagram illustrates the connection between the OBD connector, the P003+ adapter, and the ECU Bench device. It also shows the various sub-jumpers and boot jumpers used for different connection types.
2. Functions
This kit is designed for reading BOSCH ECU data, including Chip Status (CS) and Pincode. It supports a range of vehicle brands such as Audi, Citroen, DS, Mahindra, Peugeot, Skoda, SEAT, and Volkswagen. More models are under development.

4. CONNECTING METHODS
BENCH MODE
Step 1: Connect components 1, 2, and 3 together as illustrated in the diagram.
Step 2: Connect the ECU pin connector to the ECU according to the specific wiring diagram for the ECU.
Step 3: Connect the 12V power supply to the diagnostic device.
Step 4: Read the data using the diagnostic device.
BOOT MODE
Step 1: Connect components 1, 2, and 3 together as illustrated in the diagram.
Step 2: Connect the ECU pin connector to the ECU according to the specific wiring diagram for the ECU.
Step 3: Connect component 2 with either component 5 (spring needle boot jumper) or component 6 (welding boot jumper) and then connect it to the ECU.
Step 4: Connect the 12V power supply to the diagnostic device.
Step 5: Read the data using the diagnostic device.
