  3. CAUTION: Do not sit, lie down, or cover the spa control unit with any objects.
  4. Install the cartridge housing inside the spa body (see diagram 11). Before installing the fittings, inflate the spa first.
  5. Before filling the spa with water, check that the valves at the bottom are securely closed, both inside and outside.
  6. Fill the spa with water to the MIN and MAX level marks on the inner wall of the spa. Do not overfill the spa. Never move the spa with water inside and/or the control base connected to the spa, as this may damage the spa or the control base.
  7. WARNING: Never fill the spa with water exceeding 40°C (104°F). It is recommended to fill the spa with lukewarm water to allow for faster heating and energy savings.
  8. Install the spa cover (with the pre-installed inflatable part) and ensure the cover is locked using the supplied key. Verify by pulling on the straps.
  9. IMPORTANT: Regularly check the cover for leaks, wear, or damage. Never use a damaged spa cover.
  10. Ensure the spa base is plugged into a properly located and adequately sized electrical outlet and press the button to turn on the control panel. Press the buttons to activate heating, see the "Spa Control Panel" section for operation.

Spa Cover

The cover clips are secured with buckles. Two keys are supplied in the plastic bag with the manual and other accessories. Each buckle is marked with "locked" and "unlocked" symbols: insert the key into the buckle opening and turn the key in the desired direction to unlock or lock the buckle.

To ensure protection against unauthorized access, always place the cover on the spa when not in use and lock all buckles. Keep the keys out of reach of children. If you misplace the keys, a flathead screwdriver of similar size can be used to lock and unlock the buckles.

When using the spa body, place the cover on a clean and dry surface, otherwise, it may cause contamination and bacteria to adhere. Do not place covers on wooden tables or wooden floors due to the risk of wood discoloration.

Inflation

Inflating the Spa Body

  1. Lay the mat (19) on a clean area. Then unfold the spa body on the mat, with the drain valve facing a suitable drainage area. NOTE: Spread the mat so that the bubbles on it face the clean area where you intend to enter the spa.
  2. Open the side cover of the control base (36) to access the blower inflation outlet. To open the cover, pull the latch, insert the hose adapter (24) with the hose, and reattach the latch to the hose adapter to secure it (see diagram 3).

  4. Turn on the control panel by pressing the button. Press the button for 8 to 10 minutes to inflate the spa body walls until it is firm to the touch but not hard (see diagrams 5 & 6). IMPORTANT: Do not overinflate the body, or use a high-pressure air compressor.
  5. IMPORTANT: To avoid damaging the blower motor, never block the blower outlet during inflation.
  6. Replace the valve cap. The cap is designed to be screwed on and off. Never force it, as this could damage the internal air valve system. Refer to "Spa Air Valve Maintenance" for valve maintenance.
  7. NOTE: If the spa body or cover needs to be re-inflated, follow the "Inflating the Spa Body" and "Inflating the Spa Cover" sections above. The air cover is pre-installed inside the spa cover. If it needs to be reinstalled, insert the uninflated air cover into the spa cover and then inflate it.

Deflation

Spa Body:

  1. Unscrew the cap, press the center of the valve, and turn it 90 degrees clockwise to lock it in the downward position (see diagram 9).
  2. Once deflation is complete, press the center of the valve and turn it 90 degrees counterclockwise to the inflation position.
  3. Replace the cap.
  4. NOTE: See the "STORAGE" section for information on deflating the spa body.

Air Cover:

  1. Slide out the valve cap, press the valve until it is completely deflated.
  2. Replace the cap; close and push the valve back in.

IMPORTANT: The inflatable/deflation valve of the spa body is equipped with a "pressure relief" function that automatically releases excess air when the internal pressure of the spa body is between 1.5 - 2.5 psi (0.103 - 0.172 bar).

Maintenance

Filter Cartridge and Spa Water Maintenance

Keep all spa users healthy by keeping the spa clean and disinfected. Always follow good hygiene practices. To ensure proper spa water quality, proceed as follows:

  1. Check and clean the filter cartridge weekly, and replace it as needed.
    • Unscrew the cartridge housing from the spa wall and remove the filter cartridge (see diagram 12).
    • Rinse the cartridge using a garden hose. If the cartridge remains dirty and changes color, it needs to be replaced. Always have a spare cartridge on hand.
    • Insert the clean cartridge back into the cartridge housing and reattach it to the spa wall.
  2. Change the spa water every 2 to 3 months, otherwise, it will become cloudy and the proper water chemistry will not clean it. Refer to "Spa Drainage" and "Spa Cleaning" for details.
  3. Use spa chemicals to maintain proper water chemical balance. Damage to the spa caused by improper use of chemicals and poor water treatment is not covered by the warranty.
  4. All users must shower before entering the spa.

IMPORTANT: Disconnect the power cord before cleaning the system. Cover the water inlet and outlet with plugs to prevent water from escaping. After completing all maintenance tasks, reconnect the power cord and remove the plugs.

Titanium Plate Cleaning

Titanium plates have a self-cleaning function integrated into the electronic control program. In most cases, this self-cleaning function will keep the titanium plates in optimal working condition. In some areas, the water is hard (high mineral content) and varies depending on local conditions. Hard water causes deposits on the titanium plates and affects the disinfection efficiency, so the salt chlorinator may require regular manual cleaning. To maintain maximum performance, it is recommended to open and visually inspect the titanium plates every two weeks for water with hardness < 100 ppm, or once a week for water with hardness > 350 ppm.

The following steps provide instructions for cleaning the titanium plates.

Check and Clean:

  1. Turn off the spa and disconnect the power cord from the electrical outlet.
  2. Unscrew the filter cartridge housing from the spa wall and seal the water inlet and outlet from the inside of the spa body using the supplied plugs (15 and 23) to prevent water from escaping.
  3. Unscrew the screws from the titanium plate housing using a Phillips screwdriver (not supplied) and remove the housing from the control unit.
  4. Disconnect the salt chlorinator cable. Unscrew the nut from the titanium plates counterclockwise using the supplied wrench (20).
  5. Pull out the titanium plates and place them in a container. Pour kitchen vinegar over the plates and let them soak for about 1 hour until all deposits disappear.
  6. Remove the titanium plates from the vinegar and rinse them with fresh water. Be careful: Keep the contacts of the cartridge completely dry; they must not come into contact with vinegar or water.
  7. To reinstall the titanium plates, follow the steps in reverse order.
  8. NOTE: Ensure that the notch on the titanium plate cartridge base aligns with the groove in the titanium plate shaft.

INTEX® TEST STRIPS (INCLUDED IN THE PACKAGE)

Test strips can simultaneously test "free chlorine", "pH", calcium hardness, and "total alkalinity". It is recommended to check water chemistry levels once a week and maintain chlorine concentration at 2-4 ppm.

Instructions and Use

  1. Dip the entire strip into the water and remove it immediately.
  2. Hold the strip horizontally for 15 seconds. Do not shake off excess water from the strip.
  3. Compare the strip to the color chart on the packaging. If necessary, adjust the water chemical levels.

It is very important to use the correct technique when testing water chemical levels. Read and carefully follow the written instructions for using the test strips.

Storage

In areas subject to freezing temperatures - when the temperature drops below 4°C (39°F), drain, clean, disassemble, and properly store all spa parts and related components in an indoor location.

  1. Drain and clean the spa in accordance with the "Spa Drainage" and "Spa Cleaning" sections.
  2. Follow the instructions for deflating and disassembling the spa body, control unit, and spa cover.
  3. To deflate the spa body and cover:
    a) Open the cap of the deflation port (34) using the supplied wrench (22) (see diagram 17).
    b) Insert the drain hose adapter (35) into the deflation port.
    c) Insert the inflation hose (7) into the drain hose adapter (35).
    d) Insert the other end of the hose into the valve on the spa body or the cover valve.
    e) Press the air bubble button to deflate.
    f) Once deflation is complete, reverse the steps and ensure the cap (34) is securely tightened.
  4. CAUTION: Use only for the purpose described in the manual. If the deflation function is activated, keep the inflation hose away from water or small objects to prevent damage to the blower motor.
  5. Ensure all spa components and accessories are thoroughly cleaned and dried before storage. Air dry the spa body for approximately one hour before storage.
  6. Fold the spa body loosely so that there are no sharp corners, and do not puncture or otherwise damage the body.
  7. Prepare a new filter cartridge for the next use.
  8. Store the spa indoors in a dry environment at temperatures ranging from 0°C to 40°C (32-104°F).
  9. The original packaging can be used for storage.
