Installation Guide

Speaker Mounting Suggestions

Follow these steps for speaker mounting:

Step 1: Removing the top half of clamp

Place the PLUTV63BTA speaker in a safe location. Using a 1/4" Hex key, remove the top clamp bolts.

Step 2/3: Adjusting mounting clamp angle and speaker position

The clamp base has four round pins that fit into corresponding round notch holes on the plastic cabinet. These allow for 45-degree adjustments (clockwise or counter-clockwise). To adjust the angle, slightly loosen the center screw with a 5/16" Hex key, lift the bottom clamp, twist the speaker to the desired angle (in 45-degree increments), ensure the pins are seated in the notch holes, and then re-tighten the center hex screw securely.

Step 4: Securing clamp bolts

Install the correct rubber pads. Use 3.15" x 1.2" x 0.2" pads for 1.75" O.D. and 3.15" x 1.2" x 0.08" pads for 2" - 3" O.D. Using a 1/4" Hex bit socket, hand-tighten the bolts evenly on both sides, ensuring consistent spacing.

Step 5: Adjustable PYLE logo

To adjust the PYLE logo orientation, first unbolt the screws, reposition the logo, and then re-secure the screws.

12V Wire Harness Connection

The main speaker has a 12V wire harness with connections for:

Main Connections

Connect the following wires:

• Battery: DC12 (+) extension power cable with fuse holder (not included).
• Ground: DC12 (-) grounded to metal chassis, or directly to the negative polarity of the battery (Black wire).
• ACC: Accessory wire (Red) to the vehicle's accessory power for ON/OFF switch control of the speakers.
• Remote Out: Remote out wire (Blue) to an external amplifier for ON/OFF switch control of the amplifier.
• AUX Input: Connect to an external audio source (3.5mm jack).
• Audio Output: Connect the RCA plugs (Red/White) to an external amplifier for audio output.
