WMF KULT X Mix & Go Blender
This document provides comprehensive instructions for the WMF KULT X Mix & Go blender, including its various models: Mix & Go, Mix & Go Duo, Mix & Go Duo Edition, and Mix & Go Keep Cool.
Important Safety Information
This appliance can be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and/or knowledge, if they are supervised or have received instructions on safe use and understand the resulting hazards. Children must not use this appliance and must be kept away from the device and its connecting cable. Children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the device. Always disconnect the appliance from the mains by unplugging the power plug when there is no supervision, in case of a fault during operation, and before assembly, disassembly, or cleaning. If the supply cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, their customer service, or a similarly qualified person to avoid hazards. Use caution when handling the sharp blades, when emptying the jar, and when cleaning. Clean all surfaces that have come into contact with food after use, following the notes in the "Cleaning and care" chapter.
Safety Instructions
- Connect the device only to a properly installed and earthed socket. The lead and plug must be dry.
- Do not pinch the connection lead or pull it over sharp edges, do not let it hang down, and protect it from heat and oil.
- Do not place the device on hot surfaces or operate near open flames.
- Do not pull the mains plug by the lead or with wet hands.
- Do not switch the device on with an empty container.
- Wait until the blades have come to a standstill before removing the lid.
- Pull out the mains plug before removing the lid.
- Caution for hot foods: Processing hot foods presents a scalding hazard. Only foods with a maximum temperature of 60°C may be processed.
- Caution for Cromargan® container: Only food with a maximum temperature of 30°C may be prepared or transported in the Cromargan® blending container.
- Before replacing accessories or spare parts that move during operation, switch off and disconnect the device from the mains.
- Do not operate the device or immediately remove the mains plug if the device or mains cable is damaged, or if a defect is suspected after a fall. Send the device for repair in these cases.
- Do not immerse the drive unit in water.
- WMF is not liable for damage caused by misuse, incorrect operation, or improper repairs. Warranty claims are also excluded in such cases.
- The device is not intended for commercial use.
Product Components
The blender comes with various components depending on the model:
- Mixing container(s) (Mod. Mix & Go, Mix & Go Duo, Mix & Go Keep Cool Cromargan®)
- Blade unit
- Start button
- Drive unit
- Lid(s)
Operation
The mixer is intended for mixing and blending foods such as fruits and vegetables, as well as for preparing juices, smoothies, shakes, and crushing ice cubes. Using the lid (5), you can use the mixing container (1) as a bottle and take your smoothie or juice with you.
Start-up
- Clean the device as described in the "Cleaning and Care" chapter.
- Cut food into small pieces and fill the mixing container (1) up to the 600 ml mark.
- Screw the blade unit (2) clockwise onto the mixing container (1).
- Place the mixing container (1) on the drive unit (4), aligning the markings. Turn the mixing container (1) clockwise until it locks.
- Caution: The mixer will only switch on if the mixing container (1) is fitted correctly.
- Insert the mains plug.
- Press the start button (3) to begin mixing. The longer you press, the finer the blend.
- Release the start button (3) and remove the mains plug when the desired consistency is achieved.
- Remove the mixing container (1) from the drive unit (4) by turning it counter-clockwise and lifting it upwards. Unscrew the blade unit (2) counter-clockwise.
- Pour out the contents or use the mixing container (1) as a bottle by screwing on the lid (5).
Crushing Ice Cubes
Insert up to 4 ice cubes, close the container with the blade unit (2), and press the start button (3) for a few seconds. Repeat as needed until the ice is crushed to the desired consistency.
Cromargan® Blender Container (Mix & Go Keep Cool)
The Cromargan® container is ideal for preparing and transporting cold drinks like smoothies with ice, frozen fruits, or iced tea. It keeps cold drinks cool for several hours. Note: Only process or transport food with a maximum temperature of 30°C.
Cleaning and Care
Unplug the device after use. Never immerse the drive unit (4) in water; wipe it with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaning agents. Be careful when cleaning the blade unit (2) to avoid injury from the sharp blades.
- Mixing container (1): Dishwasher safe.
- Blade unit (2): Can be rinsed under running water.
- Drive unit (4): Wipe with a damp cloth.
- Lid (5): Dishwasher safe.
The device complies with European Directives 2014/35/EG, 2014/30/EG, and 2009/125/EG. Conformity according to EN60335 clause 11 was verified using the recipe: 240g carrots + 360g water. Operation: 10 seconds ON, 1 minute OFF.
At the end of its service life, this product must not be disposed of with normal household waste. It should be taken to a collection point for recycling electrical and electronic devices. Materials are recyclable according to their labeling. By reusing, recycling, or otherwise utilizing old devices, you make an important contribution to protecting our environment. Please ask your municipal administration for the appropriate disposal facility.
