Use
The device is intended for mixing and blending foods such as fruits and vegetables, as well as for preparing juices, smoothies, and shakes, or for crushing ice cubes. By using the lid (5), you can use the mixing container (1) as a bottle and take your smoothie or juice with you after preparing it.
Start-up
- Clean the device as described in the "Cleaning and Care" chapter.
- Cut food (e.g., fruits, vegetables) into small pieces and fill the mixing container (1). Fill up to the 600 ml mark maximum. Tip: Always add a little liquid. Add ingredients in order: hard ingredients first, then soft ones.
- Screw the blade unit (2) clockwise onto the mixing container (1).
- Place the mixing container (1) on the drive unit (4). Ensure markings align. Turn the container clockwise with gentle downward pressure until it locks. Caution: The mixer will only switch on if the mixing container (1) is fitted correctly. A safety shutdown prevents operation without the container.
- Insert the mains plug into the socket.
- Press and hold the start button (3) to begin mixing. The longer the button is pressed, the smoother the blend.
- When the desired consistency is achieved, release the start button (3) and remove the mains plug.
- Remove the mixing container (1) from the drive unit (4) by turning it anti-clockwise with gentle downward pressure.
- Unscrew the blade unit (2) anti-clockwise from the mixing container (1).
- Pour out your smoothie or juice, or screw on the lid (5) to use the container as a bottle.
Crushing Ice Cubes
- Fill with up to 4 ice cubes and close the mixing container (1) with the blade unit (2).
- Press the start button (3) briefly (a few seconds).
- As soon as the ice cubes return to the bottom, press the start button (3) again for a few seconds.
- Repeat until the crushed ice has the desired consistency.
Cleaning and Care
- Remove the mains plug after use.
- Never immerse the drive unit (4) in water; wipe it with a damp cloth.
- Do not use abrasive cleaning agents.
- Be careful not to injure yourself on the sharp blades when cleaning the blade unit (2).
- The mixing container (1) and lid (5) are dishwasher safe.
