Installation Instructions
The RMC is a wireless key fob in FastLink technology, designed for PIMA's intruder alarm systems. The key fob is used for arming and disarming, and activating devices. Using the key fob in FORCE requires the installation of a wireless receiver.
The RMC has an elegant design and is supplied with a keychain. The key fob is battery operated and it alerts on low battery condition. For enrollment information, see the alarm system's Installation guide; for using instructions, see the alarm system's User guide
Cautions: the RMC is based on wireless (RF) transmissions. Any wireless transmission can be subject to RF interference and, although unlikely, this interference may cause the RMC to not operate as intended. RF transmissions will be attenuated by tinted glass, in wall isolation with metal foils, metal objects, etc.

How to replace the battery
The RMC is powered by a 3V, Lithium battery. The battery's life expectancy is three years, with an average of 20 activations per day. Low battery condition is detected when the battery voltage drops below 2.6V; after that the battery can last for up to one month.
To install the battery, do the following: 1. Insert a slotted screwdriver to the notches on the sides of the key fob, and open it. 2. Take out the PCB and remove the battery. 3. Place a new battery with the `+' side up, and put the PCB back in place. 4. Close the key fob by pressing it firmly on both sides and on the center, until clicked. 5. Fasten the supplied screw on the back side. 6. Test the key fob.
How to clean the key fob
Clean the key fob with a soft cloth if dirty. Do not use abrasive or solvent-based cleaners, or allow it to become wet.

Instrucciones de Instalación
El RMC es un llavero/control remoto inalámbrico con tecnología FastLink, diseñado para los sistemas de alarma PIMA. El llavero/control remoto se usa para armar y desarmar el sistema y para activar dispositivos. Para usar el RMC en los sistemas FORCE se requiere la previa instalación de un receptor inalámbrico
El RMC tiene un diseño elegante e incluye un llavero. Funciona con baterías y reporta el estado de batería baja. Para información sobre como registrar (enrolar) el dispositivo, consulte la guía de instalación del sistema de alarma.
Precaución: el RMC funciona mediante transmisiones inalámbricas (RF). Cualquier otra transmisión inalámbrica puede generar interferencias de RF y, aunque es poco probable, estas interferencias pueden hacer que el dispositivo no funcione según lo previsto. Las transmisiones de RF se atenuarán en vidrios polarizados, en aislamiento de paredes con láminas metálicas, objetos metálicos, etc.

Como instalar la batería
El RMC trabaja con una batería a de Litio de 3 voltios. La vida útil de la batería es aproximadamente de 3 años, con un promedio de 20 activaciones diarias. El estado de baja batería es detectado cuando el voltaje de la misma, cae por debajo de los 2.6 voltios.
Para instalar la batería, haga lo siguiente: 1. Inserte un destornillador plano en las ranuras a los lados del RMC, y ábralo. 2. Saque el circuito impreso y quite la batería. 3. Reemplácela por una nueva, verifique que el signo "+" esté hacia arriba y regrese el circuito impreso a su lugar. 4. Cierre el RMC presionando firmemente en los lados y en el centro de la unidad, hasta escuchar un clic. 5. Asegure el tornillo de la parte posterior. 6. Pruebe el funcionamiento del RMC.
Cómo limpiar el llavero
Limpie el llavero con un paño suave si está sucio. No use limpiadores abrasivos o a base de solventes, ni permita que se humedezcan.
