User manual for ESi Cirrus and Mistral thermostats.
Product Overview
This document provides instructions for setting up and operating the ESi Cirrus and Mistral thermostats, designed for efficient home heating and hot water control.

Setting The Time & Date
If your thermostat is not connected to Wi-Fi, manual time and date setting is required during initial setup or after a power outage.
Process:
- Tap the SET button. The display will show "SET TIME".
- Use the DIAL to select between 24 HOUR or 12 HOUR format. Press the DIAL to confirm.
- The hour digits will flash. Use the DIAL to adjust the hour and press the DIAL to proceed to the minutes.
- Adjust the minutes using the DIAL and press the DIAL to confirm.
- To set the date, use the DIAL to change the digits and press the DIAL to move to the next digit (day, month, year).
Setting Heating Programs
The ESi Mistral/Cirrus thermostats come with a pre-set heating profile that can be customized. You must enter both ON times/temperatures and OFF times/temperatures (Setback Events).

Programming Options:
- 24 Hour: All days follow the same program.
- 5-2 Day: One program for weekdays and a different one for weekends.
- 7 Day: Individual programs for each day of the week.
Programming Steps:
- Press the SET button and use the DIAL to select "HEATING SCHEDULE". Press the DIAL.
- Select the desired schedule type (24 Hour, 5-2 Day, or 7 Day) using the DIAL and press the DIAL to confirm.
- If using 5-2 Day or 7 Day, select the day or group of days (e.g., MON-FRI) using the DIAL and press the DIAL.
- The display will show the start time (flashing) and end time for Program 1 (e.g., 06:00 TO 08:00).
- Use the DIAL to adjust the start time, press the DIAL. Adjust the end time, press the DIAL.
- Adjust the temperature for this program using the DIAL and press the DIAL to confirm.
- Repeat steps 4-6 for all programs (up to 4 or 6 events depending on selection).
- Press the HOME button to return to the home screen.
Setting Hot Water Programs (Mistral Only)
Similar to heating programs, you can set schedules for hot water operation.
Programming Options:
- 24 Hour: All days follow the same program.
- 5-2 Day: One program for weekdays and a different one for weekends.
- 7 Day: Individual programs for each day of the week.
Programming Steps:
- Press the SET button and use the DIAL to select "HEATING AND HOT WATER SCHEDULE". Press the DIAL.
- Select "HOT WATER SCHEDULE" using the DIAL and press the DIAL.
- Choose the desired schedule type (24 Hour, 5-2 Day, or 7 Day) using the DIAL and press the DIAL to confirm.
- If using 5-2 Day or 7 Day, select the day or group of days (e.g., MON-FRI) using the DIAL and press the DIAL.
- The display will show the start time (flashing) and end time for Program 1.
- Use the DIAL to adjust the start time, press the DIAL. Adjust the end time, press the DIAL.
- Repeat steps 5-6 for all hot water programs.
- Press the HOME button to return to the home screen.
Heating Modes
Tap the MODE button to cycle through the following heating modes:
- AUTO: Programs run as scheduled.
- MANUAL: Maintains a constant SET temperature, overriding programs.
- AWAY: Sets a user-defined temperature for extended absences. This setting persists until changed.
- SLEEP: Sets a user-defined temperature that lasts until the first program of the next day.
Advanced Settings
Access advanced settings by tapping the SET button and navigating through the menus.
Set Sleep & Away Temperatures
Navigate to SYSTEM MODE SETTINGS, then select SLEEP or AWAY. Use the DIAL to set the desired temperature and press the DIAL to confirm.
Number of Programs
In RF SETUP, select PROGRAM EVENTS. Use the DIAL to choose between 4 (2 ON & 2 OFF) or 6 (3 ON & 3 OFF) daily programs and press the DIAL to confirm.
Display Settings - Brightness
Navigate to DISPLAY, then DISPLAY BRIGHTNESS. Use the DIAL to adjust brightness from 1 to 10 and press the DIAL to save.
Display Settings - Display Mode
Navigate to DISPLAY, then DISPLAY MODE. Use the DIAL to select one of the following modes and press the DIAL to confirm:
- COMPLETE: Shows set temp, room temp, program, and time.
- CLOCK: Shows room temp and current time.
- BASIC: Shows only the current room temperature.
- SIMPLE: Shows set temp, room temp, and program mode.
Holiday Mode
Navigate to HOLIDAY SETUP. Select the number of holiday days using the DIAL, then press the DIAL. Set a minimum temperature for the holiday period using the DIAL and press the DIAL to confirm. Holiday mode maintains a minimum temperature and suspends normal programs. To cancel, tap the HOME button twice.
Heating Temporary Override
When in AUTO mode, use the DIAL to temporarily adjust the SET temperature. The override lasts until the next scheduled program starts.
Heating & Hot Water Boost (Hot Water For Mistral Only)
Hold the HOME button until "HW BOOST" or "HEAT BOOST" appears. Use the DIAL to select boost type (HW or HEAT) and duration (in minutes). Press the DIAL to confirm. To cancel, press HOME.
Connectivity & App Integration
Pairing With The ESi Centro App
Remotely control heating and hot water (Mistral only) via the ESi Centro app. Download the app and follow its instructions to pair your thermostat to your home network. The ESi CIRRUS requires the ESWIFIHUB for smart functions.
Pairing ESI CIRRUS to ESWIFIHUB
On the ESWIFIHUB, hold the Wi-Fi button until the RF button flashes green. On the ESi CIRRUS, hold the button until "RF SETUP" appears. Tap the DIAL. The display will show "PAIRING" with a counter. Once paired, "SAVING" will appear. After successful pairing, use the ESi Centro app to connect the ESWIFIHUB to your home network.
