Connect Your Room Thermostat to Alexa

Before connecting your room thermostat to Alexa, ensure you have downloaded the ESi Centro app. Create an account with your new ESi Centro app and log in. Follow the instructions on the ESi Centro app to pair your thermostat to your Centro account.

If you have thermostat models ESRTP4RFW (Atlantic), ESRTP4 Touch, ESRTP8 (Cirrus) or RF Kit, you will also need to install the ESWIFIHUB to allow Alexa to work with your ESi Centro account.

Download the Amazon Alexa app from your usual app store. Open the Alexa app and create an account if necessary.

Step 1: Add Device in Alexa App

Tap the [+] icon at the top of your phone screen.

Step 2: Select Thermostat Type

Scroll down until you see Thermostat. Tap on Thermostat.

On the next page, scroll down to Other. Tap on Other.

Tap the Wi-Fi option.

Step 3: Enable ESi Centro Skill

Tap the blue text which says Smart Home Skills

On the next screen, tap in the search bar that shows Search Alexa Skills

In the search bar, type ESi & press search. ESi Centro will show as the search result. Tap on ESi Centro.

Tap ENABLE TO USE

Tap Next.

Step 4: Assign Thermostat to a Room

Select the area where your thermostat is situated. Tap Add To Group

Tap Continue. Your ESi Centro app can now be used with your Alexa app.

If you have a second thermostat, you will need to follow the above steps for each device.
