Safety & Warnings

  • Read all safety notes and instructions before first use even if you are familiar with this product. Retain this user guide for future reference.
  • Use the product only as described in this user guide.
  • Unplug the monitor before cleaning it.
  • Use a clean, slightly dampened cloth to wipe the main monitor body.
  • To clean the screen, turn it off, unplug it, and wait for it to cool completely, then wipe it with a dry micro-fibre cloth.
  • Do not use cleaning alcohol, ammonia-based liquids, or other harsh cleaners.
  • This monitor is designed with ventilation holes on the back of the casing. Do not cover or block them.
  • Do not insert any object or spray any liquid into the vents.
  • Avoid placing the monitor near heaters, stoves, fireplaces, or other sources of heat, as well as in rooms lacking adequate ventilation.
  • Do not position the monitor in unsafe locations. If the monitor falls, it may be damaged and may injure nearby people.
  • Unplug the monitor if it is not going to be used for an extended period.
  • Do not place heavy objects on the monitor, its power cord, or any connected cable.
  • Do not open the back panel of the monitor, as it contains a high-voltage current even when not plugged in.

Components

  • Monitor: The main display unit.
  • Stand Arm: Connects the monitor to the stand base.
  • Stand Base: Provides stability for the monitor.
  • Cable Clip: Used for managing cables.
  • M4x10mm Stand Screw: Screw for attaching the stand to the monitor.
  • M6x10mm Stand Screw: Screw for attaching the stand base to the stand arm.
  • M4x10 VESA Screws (x4): Screws for VESA mounting.
  • DP Cable: DisplayPort cable for video connection.
  • Power Adaptor: Converts AC power to DC for the monitor.
  • User Guide: This document.

Overview

Control Button

The monitor features a single control button, often referred to as the 'Power Button' or 'Directional Stick'.

  • Power Button Functionality:
    • Press and hold for 3-5 seconds to turn the monitor on/off.
    • When the monitor is on, press for 1 second to open the main menu.
    • Press to enter a submenu.
    • Press to save menu adjustments and return to the previous menu.
  • Directional Stick: Used to navigate through the menus.

Monitor Ports

The rear of the monitor features several ports for connectivity:

  • 1. Power Input Port (DC 12V): For connecting the power adapter.
  • 2. HDMI Port: High-Definition Multimedia Interface port.
  • 3. HDMI Port: Another HDMI port for multiple connections.
  • 4. DP Port: DisplayPort for video and audio transmission.
  • 5. DP Port: Another DisplayPort.
  • 6. 3.5mm Audio Output Port: For connecting headphones or external speakers.

Assembly

Warning

The monitor's screen is fragile. Keep the foam underneath the screen while assembling the stand.

Steps

  1. Carefully remove the monitor, stand arm, and stand base from the box.
  2. Attach the stand base to the stand arm and secure it in place using the M6x14 Stand Screw.
  3. Attach the stand to the rear of the monitor and secure it in place using the M4x10mm Stand Screw.
  4. Lift the monitor up straight and remove the bottom foam. Stand the monitor on a flat, stable surface.

VESA Mount

The monitor supports VESA mounting with a pattern of 100x100mm, using M4 screws. VESA mount or mounting accessories are not included.

Steps

  1. Gently place the monitor on a desktop or table.
  2. If the monitor is already attached to the stand, press the release button to remove the stand.
  3. Following the instructions included with the monitor mount, attach the monitor to the mount.

Operation

Note

Ensure the monitor is powered off before connecting any cables.

Connecting to Power

  1. Plug the provided power adapter into the monitor's DC port.
  2. Connect the power adapter to a properly grounded electrical outlet.
  3. Use the 'Power' button to turn the monitor on.

FreeSync

  • To use this feature, ensure your hardware has FreeSync capability and the graphics drivers are fully up to date.
  • After connecting, you may receive a prompt to enable the feature on your computer. If you do not receive the prompt, you may need to enable the function in your graphics card menu.
  • Refer to your graphics card manufacturer's documentation for instructions on how to turn on and/or enable FreeSync.

On Screen Display (OSD)

The On-Screen Display (OSD) Menu allows adjustment of the monitor's settings. It appears on the screen after turning on the monitor and pressing the 'Power' button.

For the first-time use, the monitor will configure optimal settings automatically.

Using the OSD Menu

  1. Press the 'Power' button to open the OSD menu.
  2. Use the 'Power' button's directional stick to select the items to be adjusted.
  3. After selecting the items, press the 'Power' button to adjust.
  4. Press the 'Power' button again to save and return to the previous menu.

Picture Modes

Press the 'Power' button to the left to switch picture modes (Standard, E-Book, Movie, Picture). Standard mode is suitable for most activities.

Connectivity

Connecting to Power

  1. Plug the provided power adapter into the monitor's power input port.
  2. Connect the power adapter to a properly grounded electrical outlet.
  3. Press and hold the 'Power' button to turn the monitor on.

Earphones (Audio Out)

Connect one end of an audio cable (not provided) to the earphone port on the monitor and the other end to your earphones.

HDMI & DisplayPort

HDMI

In order for the monitor to receive HDMI signals from the computer or device, use the included HDMI cable.

DisplayPort

In order for the monitor to receive DisplayPort signals from the computer, use the included DisplayPort (DP) cable to connect the monitor to the computer.
