Overview
The JBL Control 412C/T is a compact, full-range ceiling loudspeaker, part of the Control 400 collection's Standard Coverage Series. It is designed for exceptional sound quality in a wide range of low to medium volume applications, including music cafés, business music systems, retail stores, music/paging systems, airports, reception/waiting rooms, lounges, courtrooms, convention centers, hotels, and educational facilities.
The speaker features a stylish, bezel-less grille that blends elegantly into room design. Its 160° coverage angle ensures consistent sound quality for listeners both on and off axis. The Control 412C/T offers high power handling, wide frequency response, and low distortion, making it suitable for sound systems requiring high-fidelity audio.
For applications requiring enhanced bass, it pairs well with the Enhanced Coverage Series Control 419CS/T subwoofer. The direct input's 8-ohm impedance allows for paralleling up to two speakers on a 4-ohm amplifier channel. For distributed systems, the UL-registered transformer provides exceptionally low saturation and high drive levels for quality, low-distortion sound.
The full-face bezel-less grille attaches magnetically and includes an easy-to-apply safety tether. The speaker is packaged with the grille, integral backcan, C-ring, and tile rails for quick installation. The included white grille is paintable, and optional accessory grilles are available in black (JBL-MTC-414BG) and square (JBL-MTC-414SG).
The Control 412C/T is UL 1480A and UL 2043 listed.
